"Aren't you afraid he'll make you his wife?" Milan, my best friend whom I trust with all my secrets, asked me after I told him that Austin stayed over at my place last night.
"No, he doesn't think of me as more than a friend."
"Whether he does or not, I don't know, but when he comes over, he's always drunk. Can you trust a drunkard?"
"No, he's always drunk when he comes over, but he's never done anything. You can relax," I told Milan to ease his worries. And it's true; Austin has never done anything except hugging me, probably just mistaking me for a pillow.
"Hmm," Milan acknowledged, but I knew she was still worried about me.
"Hey, there!" The high-pitched voice of Manny, a gay friend of mine who I can talk to about anything, called out to us from afar.
"What's up, queen?" Milan greeted Manny as soon as he arrived.
"It's Friday, let's go hunting for guys. Don't ditch me; I've reserved a table," Manny invited, half-commanding us to go hunting with him again. I don't really like going out, but I go with my friends just to chat and have fun.
"Where?" Milan asked Manny. These two are party animals.
"The most…"
"Fabulous..." Milan clapped in approval.
The club Manny reserved is a luxurious one, very luxurious. Even the lower zone is more upscale than regular clubs. Don't even mention the VIP zone; no matter how rich you are, if you're not special, you can't get in. And more importantly, the club owner is hot, rich, hot, fierce, and rugged, the talk of the town among partygoers. That's Austin for you.
"Let's get dressed at my condo, okay? Shall we go now that classes are over?" Milan suggested, and we immediately headed to Milan's condo. It's our usual meeting place before going out.
"Milan, is that an outfit for going out or for getting laid? It's so slutty..." Manny teased with mock annoyance after seeing Milan's extremely sexy outfit, which was hard to describe.
"Whatever, are you jealous?"
"You b***h!"
"Stop teasing me and go dress up your sweetie," Milan told Manny with a laugh, then sent him to dress me up. Manny loves dressing us up, but Milan never lets him, so it falls on me alone.
"Alright, come here, sweetie. Today, mommy will dress you up fabulously," Manny walked over to me, giddy with excitement.
"Why are you so giddy?" Milan asked with mock annoyance.
"Today is special; I have a special 'how-to' guide for dressing up."
"What's this 'how to' of yours?" Milan asked with curiosity. I was wondering the same, hoping he wouldn't do anything crazy with my appearance.
"How to dress to get the club owner to be your boyfriend." As soon as he said that, Milan choked on the water he was drinking, while I could only gape with a red face from embarrassment.
"Cough, cough, aren't you done trying to set those two up, Man? You know what Austin's like."
"Yeah, I know, but Mia isn't just any girl. She's the one who can handle Austin, trust me. I've got a feeling."
"More like a sixth sense of bullshit."
"Hey! Watch it." They bickered and then busied themselves with getting dressed. When the time came, we took a taxi out, planning to let loose. I didn't want to drink and drive.

THE MOST
"Hey! Look who's here," Kevin shouted excitedly, pointing downstairs. Even though I was annoyed, I looked down.
"Who is it?" Alpha asked in his usual bored tone, despite having a beautiful girl clinging to his arm. "Yeah, who is it?" I was just as curious as Alpha. The club was dark, making it hard to see, and Kevin loved to keep us guessing.
"There, there, see? She's smoking hot today," Kevin said, smacking his lips. This guy was the horniest guy ever. I've never met anyone as lustful as him.
"Oh, it's Mia's group," Alpha finally saw and said, letting me know who he was talking about.
What? She's here? Why didn't she tell me?!
"Damn, she's looking hot. Especially dressed like that, I want her," Kevin said.
"You two have been friends for so long, and you only just realized?" Alpha asked strangely, glancing at me.
"Huh! What do you mean by that? Don't tell me..."
"Hmph!" Alpha snorted and smirked, a gesture I really disliked. I don't know, it felt like he could read minds and knew everything about everyone. Sometimes, it seemed like he understood others' feelings better than they did themselves.
"But Mia looks stunning as hell today, look at how all the guys are eyeing her up," Kevin nodded towards Mia. And it's true, as he said, the guys were practically ogling her, and some even sneaked closer to touch her. Doesn't she realize she's being groped? Normally, I like it when my club is full of people, but today I really don't like it. Oh! Don't get me wrong, I'm not possessive, I'm just concerned as a friend.
"I'll be back," I told them, getting up irritably and heading downstairs.
Damn it! It's crowded as hell. Haven't you guys ever been out before?
"Are you here with friends?"
I reached her just in time to hear some young guy smiling and hitting on her.
"Huh? Oh, yes, I'm here with..."
"With her man," I replied calmly, right as the music ended, so both the young guy and she heard me loud and clear.
"Uh, sorry," the guy gave me a sheepish smile and quickly backed off. As for Mia, she turned around with wide eyes, looking at me in shock since I answered the young guy. Does she think pulling that face is cute or something?
"Uh, Austin."
Yeah, my name's Austin. How long are you going to stay silent?
"Yeah, it's me. Come on!" I finished speaking and pulled her along to the VIP section.
"Oh, Austin, where are you going?"
I dragged Mia through the crowd, passing Manny and Milan. Manny quickly called out when he saw us.
"I have something to discuss with her. Head up to VIP 1, Manny, Milan," I told Manny quickly and wrapped my arm around Mia as the crowd started to get denser.
"Wow... Fabulous, just fabulous..." Manny shouted after us, probably thrilled to be moving up to the VIP section. My club's VIP section isn't just for anyone with money; you have to be cool and special. But that's beside the point.
I pulled Mia up to the third floor, which is where my office and a resting room are. Well, it's more of a room where I have fun with girls. My actual resting room is on the fourth floor.

"Austin, let go already!" Mia told me when we reached the office. So, I let go of her hand and turned to look at her. I don't know why, but I was seriously pissed off.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming out?"
"I just came out with Manny and Milan, not to see you."
Huh! What a cheeky answer. But damn it, it's my club, isn't it? If you're coming to my club, you should tell me first.
"Yeah, I know, but this is my club. Why didn't you tell me before you came?"
"What's your problem? Does everyone have inform you first before getting in your club?"
Well, she's got a point, but still, if she's coming, she should let me know.
"And look at what you're wearing!" I looked at Mia's outfit from head to toe. How could she wear something like that? A tight-fitting dress showing off her figure, and the skirt is barely a hand's breadth long.
"Why? There's nothing wrong with it. Manny and Milan said it looks nice."
Yeah, it's nice. I admit Mia looks great today, but it's the kind of beauty that drives me crazy.
"Seriously? Do you really like dressing like this so those creeps downstairs can take advantage of you?"
"Austin, what's wrong with you? Why did you drag me up here?" She paused and sighed before asking, and honestly, I didn't know why I did it either.
"Damn!" I couldn't answer. I was frustrated with myself and the woman in front of me. All I could do was shout and kick the trash can beside me to vent.
"Go sit in VIP 1 and don't sit near Vin or Al. If you need to use the bathroom, come up to my office," I told Mia. She seemed confused by my erratic behavior, but still walked out of the office. I decided to sit and calm down for a while.
After cooling down, I went downstairs. I felt a bit guilty for scolding her when she hadn't done anything wrong. So, I'll take her home today as an apology. I'd rather not take any girls home for her sake tonight.
