Travis woke up in his beautiful mansion. “Good morning, golden system. How much time remains to complete the mission?”
[You have 15 hours to complete the main mission]
Travis received a call from CEO Douglass.
“My friend, Moore, just inform me you are coming to his son’s wedding,” CEO Douglass said
“Yes.”
“It is already time, and we have been waiting for you.”
“Oh!” Travis checked the time. It is 12:40 PM. He had slept for so long. No wonder he was famishing much. “Would get there soon. Give me thirty minutes.”
“We are waiting for you,” CEO Douglass said and hung up the call.
Travis hurried into the bathroom and took his bath. He quickly wore the best clothes among his old clothes.
He entered his car and sent a message to the grand system.
[You called me]
“Please remind me to buy new clothes after the party.”
[Request granted]
“Thank you!”
Travis clicked the place he was going on the car mapping screen. “Take me there.”
The car moved towards the closed gate. The gate opened by itself and closed as the car moved out.
Travis looked at everything in his car and felt like he was in paradise. He closed his eyes for a moment, thanking himself for trusting the Golden system.
He looked at the wedding card inside his card and read the names again. He laughed because it was not Abigail’s name.
“I warned her, but she won’t listen. She thought he loved her. I must find a way to spoil his wedding, too.”
Before the car reached the venue, he had already thought about how to spoil the wedding. The moment he alighted from the car, the CEO Douglass and CEO Moore welcomed him with a bright smile.
“I thought you won’t come. Thank you very much for humbling yourself,” CEO Moore said, handshaking Travis.
“I’m also honored to be here,” Travis said and caught the glare of Gideon and Sarah entering the hall.
“Shall we enter now?” CEO Douglass asked.
“Sure!” Travis said.
“He would have a coffee first, I guess,” CEO Douglass told CEO Moore to know the reaction of Travis.
Travis smiled. He wanted to say he needed plenty of food, not just hot cool coffee, but he nodded and followed them into the hall.
“Is that not Travis?” Sarah asked Gideon.
“What is he doing here?”
“Maybe he works as a driver and was here to represent his boss.”
“It’s true. He would receive the same treatment his boss deserved. What a shameless being. He wore a rough cloth to the wedding.”
They laughed.
“If not because of what happened to me that day, he would have hated he came into this world,” Gideon said.
“Please stop reminding me about that bad day. I don’t want to think about it.”
“I’m sorry. I believe you love me for real. I don’t expect you to stay with me after the damn hour.”
Sarah smiled. “I’m not your stupid Calvin that broke my friend’s heart. If not because of you, I won’t be here.”
“Calvin told me he followed his father’s instruction.”
“Let’s just forget it.”
“Okay,” Gideon said, sipping his bear, slowing and watching how Travis was being treated to sit among the billionaire. ‘Travis’s boss is nice to him,’ he thought to himself.
As the party was going smoothly, the way Travis didn’t want it to go, he gulped a lot of coffee, waiting for the time Calvin would come to the stage with his wife so that he could destroy the relationship.
Not long after mentioning and honoring Travis and other people in the high chair, the man holding the microphone called the bride and the bridegroom.
Everyone rose and applauded as Calvin and his pretty wife, with dimples, and smiles walked in amid a melodious song. Everyone except Travis.
Travis sent a message to his grand system immediately. Calvin and his wife climbed the stage and stood before the priest.
[You called me]
“Can you make the fake video appear on every television inside this hall?”
[Yes]
“Make a video where Calvin and Gideon were having s*x with a random girl. They must be naked.”
[That is a simple task]
[To grant this task, you must do one thing]
“What?”
[Stop looking at the food on the table]
“Oh!” Travis looked down and smiled, knowing the grand system had caught him. “It wasn’t my fault. I’m really hungry. But if that is what I need to do to get what I want, I will be glad to do it.”
[Good]
When Calvin was about to kiss his wife, the light inside the hall went off. Travis was also startled by the sudden darkness. He didn’t expect the golden system to switch off the light.
Then every television changed to the scenes where Calvin and Gideon were having s*x with an unknown girl. CEO Moore rose as he took off his eyeglasses. His son had disgraced him greatly, especially when the most special guest attended.
Everyone was disappointed; everyone except for Travis, who tried to look at the food on the table in the darkness.
The television went off, and the light went back on. The bride tearfully walked down from the stage, dropping flowers and the ring.
Calvin couldn’t understand. The only girl he loved so much was leaving because of what he couldn’t understand.
Sarah broke into tears. “After I suffer for you, this is how you repay. I will never forgive you.”
Gideon wanted to explain. “I don’t do that, trust me.”
Sarah slapped him and stormed out.
Travis rose and his eyes met with Calvin’s. Winked to Calvin, he turned to leave.
CEO Moore grabbed Travis’s hand. “I’m so sorry for this.”
Calvin hurried to his father. “Father, I don’t understand. Believe me, I suspected this boy.” He pointed at Travis.
CEO Moore slapped him. “Shut up. I disown you from now on.”
