Rorick’s hazel eyes searched mine carefully as he debated calling my bluff. His eyes drifted to my lips as red circled the irises. For a moment, it seemed like he was going to kiss me, but instead, he shrugged and pulled away.
“Well, I am into biting. I may have to take up on that offer.” He snatched the key card from my hand and waved it at me.
“I’ll be back soon, beautiful.” He chuckled as he turned on his heel and walked out. I was left sitting there, staring at the door after it had closed.
