Dark Nights.

“Heavy Panting” “Dad please” i screamed as the whip continues to hit me at my delicate back “i wished you died in the fire along with that woman” thats what he called my mom “that woman” like they never got married. But we can’t start my story like this let me take you back to where it all began (March 14 2000) I was born on this day and also abandoned on this day by my real birth parents,what a beautiful way to start a life or may i say tragic? Dropped at an orphanage although i had parents although i guess they never wanted me and i still don’t know my parents till this day and i also don’t care. I was adopted by my foster parent Linda and Elijah, Linda took care of me like i was hers and so did dad well i guess till i turned 4 he grew tired of me but mom didn’t stop loving me like i was hers i l know i was adopted but i took her as a mom until one night in my foster parents room I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but i did and it didn’t end well. (Glass shattered) Elijah:Linda what did i do to you to deserve this huh? Linda:what do you mean? Elijah:Your f*****g barren linda linda barren you can’t give birth to our own children we adopted its been 4years and you still can’t huh your a useless thing i wish i hadn’t married you Linda:Elijah stop drinking your drunk Elijah:(slaps)don’t tell me what to do woman your nothing but a mannequin(he opens the door and found me outside,i looked in his eyes and saw hatred in them) what are you doing here? (He asks) Emma:i….uh….uh..m… Elijah:what now you can’t speak? I guess your useless too am not even your father Emma:dad? Elijah:Your adopted never call me dad (With tears in my eyes i could see linda coming towards us with him in a drunken state he pushed her backwards and her head had hit the glass table inside their room and linda fell to her death) Emma:Mom…aaaahhhh(My hair being pulled by Elijah) Elijah:What mom huh? Answer me your adopted from now on you’ll be my maid and I don’t care how old you are.Now take this lighter and burn the house down before the police gets here and bear it in mind “You Killed Her” ……………… Emma’s Pov- “I couldn’t sleep the fire still haunts me in my dreams i killed Linda My father beat me everyday And when i turned 10 he brought in another woman who made my life a living hell She later bore him twins a boy and a girl Papa was so happy but i wasn’t cause it become more worse,stepmom hated me she slaps me,kicks me,and trashes me for no reason.I couldn’t go to school anymore it was like i was forgotten at the arrival of the new babies well thats just how my life’s been tragedy and hopeless. I just wished someone would bring me out of this dark and cold life and really showed me what love was would it come? (Emma) my stepmoms shout i run down into the house from the gate house quaters thats where i stay if your wondering am now 18 its not like i celebrate my birthdays anyways. “Yes ma’am” Do the dishes and after that take care of Anna and Arnold “Yes ma’am” After doing the dishes i went to take care of the twins they were now 8years making my life a living hell “Hey emma brush my hair like a princess or i’ll tell mom” Anna says “I am not your slave Anna am your big sister” “Hahahhah you wish my only sibling is Arnold isn’t that right” “Anna stop being stubborn Sister Emma is really nice….” At least Arnold had a heart. “Whatever(Anna took a scissors and cuts her hair) “Stop what have you done” —The front door opens stepmom walks in “What in the world happened to your hair Anna?” “Mom its Emma i told her to brush my hair and she cuts it with a scissors” “But i didn’t ma’am” “Oh you shut up are you calling my child a lair” (Dad comes in) “What’s going on?” Stepmother explains and adds her story And thats how you all found me hard panting being awfully dragged on the floor by my hair “Dad please” “You should have died with your mom in that stupid fire” The pain was excruciating I couldn’t bare it after that i was thrown out of the house with nothing “It’s okay at least i won’t suffer anymore” i sobbed and walked down the dark alley “its lonely and dark like my life” I rest by the road with my torn clothes i could feel the cold piercing through my delicate skin I was only 18 where do i start,I didn’t go to school how do i find a job until a black Mercedes stops on the side i sat I tried to run away but i was knocked unconscious Everywhere turned black…..
