Joycelyn sleeps on her bed staring at her diamond engagement ring, thinking of everything that had happened during the Engagement ceremony and the past few months and she smiles to herself
She starts talking to herself saying: thank You God for everything. something that was meant to be my bad luck has turn good. Now I am going to school and I am getting married to a good man whose entire family cares for me. Oh God thank You so much I am really grateful.

Emperor Michael is also sleeping on his bed and thinks about Joycelyn and says
God, thank You for everything. thank You for giving me a wonderful girl as my life partner. God You have given me everything please grant me the wisdom and show me the way so that I can make her happy all my life until I die.
A guard arrives and says: your majesty please your father, uncles and brother are here to meet you
Emperor Michael: let them in
Sir Stephen, Sir William, Sir George and Prince Augustine enter

Lucia: what do you mean by us? You were the one who wanted to get rid of her, you and Dad sold her not us so if there is a trouble, fix it yourself. Liliana's daughters leave from there leaving her alone. Nicholas comes there
Nicholas: Lily dear, why are you here by yourself. Are you alright
Liliana gives him an angry look: don't you realise what is about to happen, what if the royal family is aware of what we did to Joy. We are doom. we need a plan
Nicholas: what plan?
Liliana: we need to let the royal family think that everything is alright between Joy and us so that every good thing will come to us
Nicholas nods and says: you are right I hope Joy hasn't told them anything. Lily dear let's go to bed tomorrow is another day
The next day, The Blanksons received a letter of invitation from the palace
Lucia gives the letter to her mother
Liliana opens the letter and reads it and tells them that the Emperor is inviting us for brunch.
Liliana says: This is an opportunity for us , listen to me very carefully we are going to make the royal family feel that Joy is very important to us. let's act like we didn't get rid of her
After saying this, They get ready to go to the palace.
Emperor Michael goes to meet Joycelyn
Joycelyn greets; greetings your majesty
Emperor Michael: hello dear, how are you?
Joycelyn replies: I'm fine your majesty
Joycelyn offers the Emperor a seat and a cup of tea
Emperor Michael: Joycelyn, I am here for two reasons, the first one is tell me when you will be eighteen
Joycelyn: your majesty I will be eighteen in six months
Emperor Michael: alright then promise me that you will marry me again when you are eighteen
The Emperor's statement shocks Joycelyn so she asks why
Emperor Michael: we are getting married right now because I don't want your secret to be known so after you turned eighteen, we will renew our vows and I pray by that time we will be in love. This made Joycelyn blush. Seeing her blushing makes the Emperor laugh
Emperor Michael: the second reason why I am here is to tell you that we are having brunch with my family and yours
Joycelyn's facial expression changed and the Emperor realised so he tells Joycelyn not to worry and that he wanted his family and Joycelyn's family to get to know each other and Joycelyn agrees to be there
The Blanksons arrive at the palace and met the Emperor's immediate family. Liliana and Nicholas goes to talk to Sir William and Lady Gloria
Liliana: Greetings Mr and Mrs Richardson
They both response
Sir William: how are you all doing?
Nicholas: we are fine and you?
Sir William: we are doing good
Liliana: why didn't you tell us that you were from the royal family?
Sir William: We didn't tell you because we were not authorized to do so
Nicholas: you should at least given us a hint. Sir William ignores Nicholas's comment
Sir William: I hope you are feeling comfortable here
Nicholas: yes we are. thank you for your hospitality
Sir William: alright
Joycelyn and Emperor Michael arrived holding hands
Emperor Michael and Joycelyn greets the Blanksons
Nicholas hugs Joycelyn tightly which made her surprise and uncomfortable: hello my dear daughter
Joycelyn: how do you do father?
Liliana: wow Joy, you look different my dear
Emperor Michael: it's really good to meet you all
Liliana: your majesty it's an honor to meet you. I always knew that my daughter will be a great person in future.
Liliana hugs Joycelyn and tells her that she is proud of her. Joycelyn's step sisters also for the first time greeted her nicely as if they shared a good relationship
They were also introduced to everyone in the royal family
After the brunch, the Blanksons interacted with the royal family for a while before leaving
The Emperor's uncles, father and brother went to meet him and asked what he thought of the family.
Emperor Michael: I think they were faking their relationship with Joycelyn so please make sure that she is always with someone in case the Blanksons are here to meet her
All nod their heads in response
Prince Augustine: you really like her don't you? His words made the Emperor smile and nods
Yes I do. she is really an amazing person and I will be there for her always: says the Emperor
After further conversation, they all left
