Azriel POV
As I walk into the library that evening for my shift, I'm pulled aside by my manager Susan. A stern older lady, who ensures that the quiet talking policy in the library is strictly adhered to.
"Azriel, you're on the second floor tonight. Take a drink and food with you, as you won't be able to leave once you're up there"
"Okay..." I reply, slightly puzzled. Susan never allows food and drink around the books, we normally take our breaks in the staff room, so I'm not sure why tonight is any different.
"There's a special guest coming and security will be tight, you can't keep coming and going" she huffs, as though having to explain it to me is taking up far too much of her time.
She leans in and whispers
"The alphas daughter".
I feel myself go tense and there must be a look
