Elliot asked Mimi, "What class are you?" "I am in Basic Two, but I am not in school," Mimi replied. "Why?" Elliot asked. His mother said, "I am hearing her say this for the first time." Elliot couldn't believe it. "Mimi, prepare, we are going shopping tomorrow, okay?" Mimi ran into the room immediately and told her mom about it.
"Okay, I will help you look for a good and neat cloth for you to wear tomorrow," Eniola said. Mrs. Rose asked her son the reason why he loved Mimi so much. Elliot explained and shared his experience about his friend who had a female child and loved the girl very well, treating her like his daughter. But unfortunately, she got drowned in a swimming pool and died the next day.
Mimi was ready and fully prepared as she ran into Elliot's room and told him she was ready. He bought a big teddy bear for Mimi and also bought a dress for Eniola. As Eniola came to welcome them, he gave the dress to Eniola and said, "It's yours." She was surprised, knelt down to thank him. "Did you tell Uncle thank you?" she asked Mimi. Mimi replied and said, "Thank you, sir."
Lillian followed them, opened the door without knocking, and said, "Madam's son bought a dress for you, you collected it. You know I used to tell you he will use you and dump you like rubbish again." She collected the dress, took it outside, and set it on fire. Mimi was angry and told her mom that "Aunty Lillian is wicked. She collected your dress and burnt it." Eniola was shocked and sad. She couldn't understand why Lillian would do such a thing. Eniola felt a surge of anger towards Lillian.
