The future Queen

2151 Words
Lana's POV I wait until my husband and grandson leave before taking my car and driving to the first Queen Cabin. I walk in and tell Alexandria to get in the car as I take her to a saver place where no one can find her. Alexandria will become one of us. The women are working behind our men's backs to take out threats against our kingdom and our King. We have a whole spy network, and we know who post threats to the kingdom and who not. We have been waiting for our future Queen as she will become the leader of us all and the fighter we need. We knew she would be unique, and Alexandria is extraordinary. She will have to fight primarily alone, but we will always have back up for her, so she doesn't get in too much danger. We have spies in every pack and women that will help her when she needs it. I knew she was special the night she almost died, and her brown eyes and brown hair changed colour. Her brown eyes turned purple, and her brown hair black as the night. I knew then that the Moon Goddess herself had touched this unique wolf that will soon be our Queen. I have brought her a new outfit as the dress she had on was torn and dirty. She took a bath and was wearing a rope that I left in the first Queen cabin. I walk into the cabin with the new outfit. A badass rogue will need a badass outfit. I got her leather pants with a black top and a leather jacket. I brought her knee-length black biker boots with flat hills to round off the outfit as she will soon start fighting, and high heels are not ideal for training and fighting. "Hi, baby girl," I greet her as I walk in. "Hi grandma," She greets me back. "I brought you some food, and after you ate, we have to go. I am taking you to a safer place," I say as I want to take her to Sofia's Place. It is far away, and Aiden will not find her there, well not until she is ready to meet him and after she helped us taking out most of the threat to the kingdom and Aiden. "How will I ever thank you, you kept me safe, and I can't do anything to repay you," Alexandria says. "Oh, baby girl, you have no idea. You are going to help the women of this kingdom to protect it against an enemy within," I say, and Alexandria looks at me like I have lost all my marbles. "How can I help? Look at me! I am scrawny, and I can't even fight. I don't know how to shift, and I am not strong," She says. "You are the King's mate. You are special," I say. "Look at me. I look average. He won't accept me as his mate," Alexandria says. "Girl, the night you almost died, the Moon Goddess touched you herself. Look in the mirror, but before you do put this on," I say, and I throw the outfit I brought her at her. She looks at it sceptically, but she gets out of the bath rope and puts it on. It fits perfectly. She looks surprised as she must have thought it would be too big. "You didn't like to look at yourself in a mirror, do you?" I ask, and she shakes her head. She has finished eating, and she walks to the mirror in the corner of the little room of the cabin. "What the hell? I have changed," She says, and I laugh. "I love your purple eyes reminds me of a young Elizabeth Taylor," I say. "Purple eyes and black hair. My body filled out as well, and my boobs and ass is bigger," Alexandria says. "Yes, but you are stronger now, little one. The king will love you," I say. Alphas are very possessive, but Kings are more so. If Aiden sees her know he will probably want to lock her up in a tower and let no other male wolf ever lay eyes on her. "Yeah, but the King can not see me now, right? I first have to learn how to fight and shift and become stronger so I can be his mate and a worthy Queen," Alexandria says. "Yeah, more like if he sees you now, he will lock you up in a tower so that no other wolf can lay eyes on you. Alphas are possessive, my dear, Kings are even worse," I say. "You know the King, don't you?" She asks, and I think to myself, I might as well tell her the truth. I hope she will still trust me after I tell her the truth. "Yes, I lied to you the first night we met, but I had to so you could trust me. I am Lana Black, as I told you, but I am the King's grandmother," I say. "I knew it. I was waiting for you to tell me the truth. I could smell him on you," She says, smiling. "I should have known you are too clever," I say, feeling a bit like a fool for thinking I could fool her. "I still love you, grandma, and I trust you with my life. You saved me, and you brought me to safety. I am ready to go if you are, grandma," She says, and I realise we will have to go if I want to be back before my husband and grandson returns. We go outside, and I get behind the wheel. She sees the castle but says nothing. She was so close to her mate, yet so far. The two of them can not meet right now as it will ruin all our plans. We drive away, and I see her looking longingly at the castle. "You will be with him soon, my dear, as soon as our mission is completed," I tell her. "Can you please tell me more about what is happening in the kingdom and why you are so afraid for the Kingdom and the King? Also, tell me, why don't you warn your grandson and your husband?" She is clever. I will have to tell her everything. "We have spies in all the packs, the women army, as we like to call ourselves, and we found out that some of the packs are not happy with having a king and living under the rules of the Kingdom. They feel like they can and will rule themselves if they can kill the king and his chance of having children hence why they tried to kill you, the King's Mate. Yes, your father and his pack are the leaders of these rebels, and if they find out you survived, they will come after you. They want to kill my grandson and my husband. I tried to tell them, but they believe that all the packs are loyal to them and would not listen to me. So we decided to take these rebel packs out one by one by ourselves to protect the kingdom and the King, and that is where you come in. As our future Queen, you will be our leader, and we will train you to be an assassin. You will be lethal and be trained by the best of our older warriors. Sofia, the woman I am taking you to know, will help you prepare, and you will have to become a deadly rogue for a while. We count on you as you are strong. Blizzard, your wolf, is strong, given to you by the Moon Goddess herself as she knows the kingdom and her children is in grave danger. You may not believe me, but I am a strong wolf myself. Although I am old, I can still fight. We will train you and still support you the night you have to fight. We are a small group as we can not trust anyone, and our spies will help you as well. They will help you get into a pack, kill the trouble makers, and help you escape without being chased or caught. I hope you are willing to help us as your King, and we need you. His life and the Kingdom depends on you, my Queen," I tell her as it is so she will know her life will also be in danger. "I will do it. I will protect you, my people, my King and my Kingdom where I can. Even if it means people sees me as a rogue and a villain," She says. "That's my girl. I knew the Moon Goddess would not make a mistake, sending me to save you. Then touch you herself," I say, proud of my future granddaughter and Queen. We reach Sofia's house, and she looks at our future Queen in awe. She walks over and touches Alexandria as if she wants to make sure she is for real. "Welcome, my Queen. I will give my life to you, and I will do my best to train you to the best of my abilities," Sofia says. "Hi, Sofia, I am honoured to be your student as I heard from grandma that you are the best to train me," Alexandria says. "Well, we don't have time to waste. Let's start the shifting training now," I say. "Yes, let's start," Sofia says. The next few minutes, we tell her what to do to shift. We are still talking when a big black wolf with purple eyes stand in front of us. We did not even hear her bones crack or her shout out in pain. A white witch magically makes the clothes I brought her. It does not rip, and when she returns to human form, she will wear it again. Old Bertha is the only witch we trust, and she is powerful and can make stuff like that. She made a pair of those clothes for my husband, me, my grandson and our warriors, but the ones she made for our future Queen she put in special care and love. Bertha knows the future of our Kingdom depends on our Queen, and she is even willing to help her train on defending against magical dark witches powers. Since our future Queen has purple eyes we know, she must have some kind of special power the Moon Goddess gave her. Bertha will help us figure it out, and she and some of her close friends she can trust will always look out for our Queen as well. "Well damn, girl, you are a fast learner," Sofia says as Alexandria turns back to human form. "I have this voice in my head, besides my wolf telling me what to do. It just told me something, and I want to try it," Alexandria says. We look at her as she starts concentrating. The next moment all our spies and we are connected, and we can mind-link with Alexandria. "I am your future Queen, and I have come to help you fight the evil that wants to destroy our kingdom and kill our King. Are you all with me?" We hear her voice in our heads. Our whole network is first in shock, then the cheers come through, and they all answer in one voice. "Yes, our Queen. We are with you. Long life the kingdom, our King and our special Queen!" The voices of all our spies and everyone we trust says. "Wow, how did you do that?" Sofia asks. "Well, I thought of everyone you trust, and I mind-linked them this happened. I did not think it would work!" Alexandria says. "So you can mind-link whoever you want to?" Sofia says. "I think so. I just need to think of them, and the voice says it as long as it is a werewolf," Alexandria says. "Well, let's try it. Think of the King and mind-link him. Tell him you are his mate and you are safe. That you will come to him when the time is right, and he needs to trust you," Sofia says, and I nod. It might help to keep Aiden in our case for a while. Alexandria concentrates for a while, and after a while, she looks a bit worried as she ends the link. "Did it work?" I ask her. "Yes, but he said he would not be satisfied until I am with him and he can touch me and make sure I am real and his. He will keep searching for me until he finds me," Alexandria says, and we look at each other, not knowing what to do. I will have to be extra careful around Aiden. Her smell! s**t, he may smell it on me as Alexandria smelled him on me.
