WINDSOR (United Kingdom) 2004 "My Baby" I murmured softly. Suddenly, the heaviness of my complicated life, vanished by having his fragile body close to my heart. It was as if, my lost soul was met with a new ambition and renewed mission. Pitiful looks from medical staff couldn't dampen my overcharged mood which was overwhelmed with the realisation of having someone I could hold onto and shivering with the impact of responsibilities this little guy bought upon his teen mom.I self loathed myself for even thinking at a time of aborting him. God knows, Even the thought of carrying Aron Reuben's spawn, felt like getting exposed to endless pits of suffocation and just like that all the bitterness that I held in my heart, thinking of this child as souvenir of the betrayal and backstab which I got exposed to flew away from the warmth of heat which seeped into my bare chest on which he innocently clinged. Darkness of my shallow soul got sparked by fresh beams of light with my baby, who appeared to me as a little Ray of sunshine. I brought him close to me and whispered slowly " You are my Ray " ______________________________________________ Giudecca VENICE 2016 13 years later I rushed into Molino Tower, half drenched due to heavy rain. Cold shivers rushed through my body due to stickiness of palazzo. I held my coat tightly as I tried to walk up the stairs without slipping. "Hey Bob what's up" I waved to Bobby as I entered the reception area. I took one of the towel from behind the counter and wiped my face. She stared at me weirdly, as if she wanted to say something. "Misty!! Please don't get angry...he was so cute, that I wasn't able to stop him from going upstairs to your flat." She came out of reception and held both of my hands together. She answered to my confused face "Lucius Reuben". "Where is he?" I asked in a plain tone and kept the towel at the back of reception after patting myself dry to some extent. She murmured something inaudibly after hearing my emotionless voice. "Don't make me repeat myself Bobby" I asked her again. "He was standing here from morning Misty. I just couldn't see it sooo.." She dragged her words again. "Soo!" I was tired and wanted to sleep. "I gave him your spare keys" like a flash my sleep got vanished "I will deal with you later Bobby. " I rushed to the elevator and stabbed the button, ignoring her calls. My heart was throbbing with pain. Long lost tears were once again forcing to come out after long 4 years as I opened the door. " Mom!!" My whole world stopped at that one word as my eyed collided with those eyes which resembled my own. With the same love and affection that I craved and begged for. Standing before me was a mirror, which showed me all my life. It is often believed that the embarrassing moment from our past bring us laugh in future, but here my dark embarrassing past was standing in front of me, as a living body that I conceived. He was not the Ray, whom I held onto with my life. He was Lucius Reuben, son and heir of Aron Reuben, who annihilated me. "Get Out" I said calmly. " I said GET OUT..." I pointed to the door.
