“With your attitude, one would think you are a different person,”He tucked her hair behind her ears as he stared into her eyes.

“Is it a bad thing?”She asked, biting her lips responding to his touch against her skin.

“It doesn't matter because I like the new you,” He smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her on the lips.

A chance to live or die!
The human realm 31st of January, 2022 "I'm sorry, but she might not make it tonight because it's spread all over her brain," The doctor's announcement made Trinia burst into tears as she watched her mother cry. "I sincerely apologize," The doctor walked out of the ward, bowing to Trinia's mother. "Oh, my poor baby," Trinia's mother exclaimed as she rushed over to her and sat beside her on the bed. "I am so sorry it has to end this way but I.." Trinia's mother paused and wiped the tears that had fallen on her cheeks. "I'm sorry you didn't get to pursue your dream of becoming a doctor, and I..." "It's okay," Trinia said, taking her mother's hand in hers and placing it on her stomach. She had isolated herself from the outside world since being diagnosed with cancer three years ago. Trinia used to be a vibrant young woman who aspired to become a doctor, but her plans were shattered when she was diagnosed with glioblastoma. Trinia did everything she could to survive, but after a series of chemotherapy and surgeries, Trinia's fate was sealed, and she was slowly dying. "All I want is to live like everyone else, and..." "I'm so sorry, Trinia." Her mother stroked her bald head. "You used to have gorgeous red hair, and it's heartbreaking to see you dying like this!" Her mother sobbed and kissed her on the cheek. "I love you and your brother Scott," Trinia's mother said, motioning for her son to come closer. "We love you, Scott," Trinia's mother said as she took her son's hand in her daughter's and then joined her own. "Trinia, even in death, we will always be a family." "Is Trinia finally coming home, Mum?" Scott, Trinia's five-year-old younger brother, inquired. Trinia nodded in response and blinked away the tears that had welled up in her eyes. "I love you, Scott," she opened her arms wide for him to embrace. "I love you," Trinia whispered as she was engulfed in the warm hug of her brother. "Don't cry Trinia," The little boy said. "Since you are coming home soon, I have a few of my toys I want to show you!" The boy announced happily. Trinia almost burst into tears in front of him, but she forced a smile. She sighed as she turned to face her mother. "I adore you, mum," Trinia declared. "I need to be alone right now," Trinia coughed. "I want to spend my last moments alone," she said quietly. Trinia's mother burst into tears and quickly wiped them away, not wanting her daughter to feel bad. "Scott and I will be standing outside the door. Please contact me if you require any assistance, Trinia." Trinia called her mother back as she stood up from the bed and turned to leave. "Mum!" She stated. "Do you happen to have a pen?" When Trinia's mother realized what was about to happen, her green eyes widened. Her daughter was about to write her final letter, which meant she was saying goodbye. "Oh Trinia," she exclaimed as she ran to hug her daughter one last time. "I love you, my child," she kissed her forehead before rummaging through her bag for the pen Trinia required. When she found it, she handed her the black pen. "Trinia, I adore you." "I love you, mum," she sniffled, taking the pen from her mother's grasp. "Goodbye, Scott!" "Bye Trinia, I'll see you at home," Scott said, unaware that it would be the last time they saw each other. Trinia stretched her hand to the left side of the room, where her book was, and opened it once her mother and brother had left. "This may be my last chance, so I hope everyone remembers me," Trinia began writing. Whoever finds it will receive a letter. I want to live my dream and see it come true. If I could have it, I'd beg to save it again and again. If anyone out there is listening, please help me and save me. I'd like to live! Trinia scribbled a few words and then attempted to place her book on the table stand beside her bed, but her hands began to shake and she screamed. "Mum!" Trinia struggled to breathe as she coughed up blood. Her mother stormed into the room, yelling and vigorously shaking her daughter. "Trinia!" She screamed and then pressed the emergency button next to Trinia's bed, hoping that the doctors would rush in and save her daughter's life, but when they arrived, they shook their heads at Trinia's mother. "The time has come for her to leave," one of the doctors said. "No!" Trinia's mother yelled and embraced her daughter. "Trinia!" Trinia's heart stopped beating in a fraction of a second, and her soul left her body. She began sobbing after her soul left her body and pointed to her real body, which was lying on the bed. "I am truly gone," she cried as she stared at her mother, who was tightly hugging her dead body. "I apologize, Mum." Inside the room, a bright light appeared, but no one saw it except Trinia's soul. She moved towards the light after hearing a voice call out. "A second chance!" The voice is hushed. "A second chance!" Trinia followed the voice and walked into the light before everything went dark. ~~~~~~~~~~ The werewolf realm 31st of January, 2022 Vanessa screamed in agony as another whip landed on her back, followed by another. Another one and another. Vanessa muffled a scream as the whip tore her flesh and she cried out in agony, looking up to her mate, The Alpha King, hoping that he would listen to her and relieve her pains. "I didn't do it," Vanessa said, her teeth clenched, as another whip landed on her back. " Ansel!" She screamed her Mate's name, but all she got was his golden glaring eyes. She was charged with treason and plotting against the king. Instead of listening to her, her mate punished her in front of everyone in the Royal mansion. Vanessa was made fun of for what she didn't do. "I didn't do it," he says. Blood ran down her face as she struggled to keep her eyes open. Everyone despised her, including her mate, whom she believed trusted her but instead of listening to her, trusted them over her. Vanessa sobbed quietly, wondering what she had done wrong to be despised by everyone, including her best friend and the man she loves. "Ansel!" She screamed out his name again. "Shut up!" One of the security guards yelled at her. "You have no right to call the king's name like that! You, evil witch, deserve to die!" The royal guard, too, looked down on her. No one has ever wanted her since she was born. Vanessa was known to everyone as the daughter of Felicia, the evil witch who nearly destroyed the world due to her obsession with the great pens given to her by the moon goddess and the witch's goddess. Vanessa became a laughingstock in her clan as a result of her mother's sin, and everyone despised her for being the child of an evil witch. They only kept her alive because of her aunt Anora and her possession of the two pens. Vanessa was always punished, whether she was right or wrong and because her powers as the pen holder did not manifest, she was cast out of the clan alone to live in the woods, and the only person who ever visited her was her aunt Nora until she died, leaving her with no one else. Vanessa attempted suicide by jumping off the cliff once but was saved by a man who had wandered into the forest. "Why do you want to kill yourself?" the man who had saved her asked, and she replied simply. " It hurts!" "Ending your life will hurt you even more," the man said. "Don't die and keep living because someone out there might care for you," those words changed Vanessa's perspective on death. "I'm going to leave." "Can you tell me your name?" She asked the man who had saved her life, but he didn't respond, and she hadn't seen him since until the elders of the witches visited her and informed her about her marriage to the Alpha king. "The werewolf clans have proposed marriage to their Alpha king as pen holders, even though your powers have not yet manifested." " What?" Vanessa couldn't believe the witches could be so evil as to accept the proposal of the heartless king, a ruthless murderer. "Why do you despise me so much?" "You should be thankful that I saved your life instead of letting you die and that is because you have the pens with you. Once your powers are taken away then I'll kill you myself," The witch's leaders had threatened her. Vanessa was taken away to the werewolves' realm as the Luna Queen before she knew it, and when she arrived, she discovered that the man who had saved her life was the Alpha king. Vanessa had hoped he would be a nice man like the man in the woods, but he was just like everyone else. He despised her from the moment he discovered who her mother was. He made her life unbearable. As if that wasn't enough, he refused to acknowledge her as his Luna Queen and instead kept her as a maid in the Royal mansion. The Alpha king refused to accept her until she manifested her powers. Vanessa became Ronan's maidservant because she had no choice but to wait and earn the king's favor. Her aunt Anora told her she was a powerful woman, but Vanessa thought she should never have been born. After a few more whips, the punishment was over. Ansel stood up and walked away, while Vanessa was released and dragged out of the Arena into her room. When she arrived, she found herself on the ground, bleeding and in pain. "Why me?" Tears streamed down her cheeks as she recalled how she had been treated since arriving at the Royal mansion. "I need to put an end to this!" Vanessa crept over to her desk and grabbed her diary, where she keeps track of her emotions. She took out one of her many pens and began to write down how she was feeling at the time. I want to die and never be born again because life is full of misfortunes, and mine never ends. If I am allowed to be reborn, I will refuse because living is hell for me. Vanessa finished her writing and looked around her table for any sharp objects, eventually finding a pair of scissors. "If I had the powers, maybe they'd respect me, but no one wants me, so it's goodbye," she slit her right wrist and groaned in pain as blood pooled out. Vanessa screamed in pain and collapsed to the ground as the blood continued to drain from her body. She screamed, then coughed up blood. Vanessa exclaimed, "Never to be born again," as she took her final breath and everything went black. Her soul, like Trinia's, left her body and stood beside her. "Never again!" she exclaimed as she stared at her body, and then a bright light and a voice whispered through the light appeared. "A chance to die!" The voice is hushed. Vanessa moved her gaze to the light and approached it. "A chance to die!" She walked into the light, and everything went dark.
