*CHAPTER 2: THE GRAVE LETTER* ∼1500 words
Arman didn't open the door.
He stood there, hand on the handle, listening to her whisper.
"Arman... please... just one minute..."
Then silence.
The footsteps walked away. Back toward the graveyard wall.
At 3:01 AM his phone buzzed again.
Same unknown number.
`Good. You listened. Tomorrow she will be angry.`
Arman called back. The number didn't exist.
He didn't sleep. At sunrise he went to the graveyard.
The wall between his house and the graveyard had a broken spot.
He climbed through.
Row after row of tombstones. Dry leaves. And at the far corner, a fresh grave.
Only 6 months old.
*AYESHA KHAN*

*"She left on her wedding day"*
Arman knelt down. The soil was soft. Like someone had been here recently.
"Who are you?" a voice said behind him.
Arman turned. It was the old tea seller uncle.
"Beta, you shouldn't be here," the uncle said. "Especially not at 3 AM."
"I didn't come at 3 AM," Arman said. "She came to me."
The uncle's face went white. "What did she say?"
"She said I promised her. That I would marry her. She mentioned a letter."
The uncle sat on a nearby tombstone. "6 months ago. Ayesha was engaged to a rich boy from Lahore.
3 days before the wedding, she got a letter. Anonymous.
It said: 'If you don't come to the house behind the graveyard at 3 AM, I will kill your family.'"
"So she came?"
"She came. And she never came back."
Arman felt cold. "Who sent the letter?"
"Nobody knows. Police closed the case. No evidence." The uncle looked at Arman's house.
"But now, every new tenant... she visits them. Looking for the groom who wrote the letter."
*That Night - 2:57 AM*
Arman's phone lit up.
Unknown number.
`She knows you went to the grave. She is crying.`
*3:00 AM*
_Tok. Tok. Tok._
But this time it was different.
The knocking was angry. Fast.
_TOK TOK TOK TOK_
"OPEN THE DOOR, ARMAN!"
Her voice was not soft anymore. It was broken. Screaming.
"YOU WROTE THE LETTER! YOU PROMISED ME! WHY DID YOU LIE?!"
Arman backed away. "I didn't write any letter!"
"Liar!"
_BOOM_
Something hit the door from outside. The whole house shook.
His phone buzzed.
`She is breaking in. Run.`
Arman ran to the back door. But the back door led to... the graveyard.
He was trapped.
_c***k_
The front door lock broke.
Arman turned around slowly.
She was standing in his living room.
White dress torn. Mud all over. Veil still covering her face.
But now her hands... her hands had soil under the nails.
And in her hand, a yellowed letter.
She held it up.
"Read it," she whispered. "Read what you wrote to me."
Arman took the letter with shaking hands.
The handwriting was his.
But he had never written it.
`Ayesha,
Meet me at 3 AM.
House behind the graveyard.
Come alone. Or your family dies.
- Your Groom`
Arman looked up. "This isn't my handwriting. I swear."
The girl tilted her head. The veil moved.
Underneath... her eyes were completely black.
"Then who did?" she asked. "Because only the groom could know about the house."
The lights flickered.
And from outside the window, another voice whispered:
"Because I copied his handwriting, Ayesha."
Both Arman and the girl turned.
Standing at the broken window was a man.
Holding a phone. Recording everything.
"Part 2 is over," the man smiled. "Wait for Part 3, Arman."
Then he disappeared into the dark.
The girl screamed. A sound that was not human.
