After they had left the sun started to go down soon leaving us on our own in the bitter cold, the
uncertainty in the air was visible, Liz was starting to get paranoid and I was starting to shake. Finding
the strength, I slowly stand up still cautious of the dangers that may leak in the shadows of the attic.
Peeking out into the now empty dark hall way, I was now certain we were alone.
Just a quick nod to Liz was done before heading out of the attic, it was quiet to quiet for my liking. I
didn’t realize the damage of the house until looking at it now all a mess with shards of glass and furniture all over the place.
They said they had the twins, but I didn’t hear them call for me unless they never had them in the first
place! The twins must be still out there looking for me.
“We need to leave they’ll probably come back anytime soon" Before Liz had confidence and bravery in
her voice but now the only emotion that is recognizable is fear, makes me feel like a horrible person for dragging her into this.
“well we can’t go through the front gates just in case they are coming back so the only option is the back
gates"
The back garden is massive and beautiful, in the summer the grass is fresh and the flowers are blooming
the sight is just beautiful. Surrounding the garden is miles and mile of forest, I was never allowed to
venture out into the wood because it was 'too dangerous for little's' as the twins said.
“We can go through the forest and stay undetected”
“I’m going to grab bag and clothes I’ll be quick”
Running upstairs I burst into my room, a sound of an alarm sounding through the air, looking around I
spot to what looks to be a camera with a red light blinking.Well that was not there before.
Ignoring the alarm, I pull out my yellow Simba bag stuffing in Jean’s, underwear and my favorite brown boots. Before I was done, I run into the twin’s room to fetch some on their hoodies putting them to into my bag.
Bolting towards the back door I see Liz patiently waiting with her already loaded g*n.
“Ready?”
“No not yet hold on"
And again, I was running this time into the kitchen grabbing a knife. I know ,I know a little shouldn’t have
a knife but come on with the situation I’m in I think I’ll need it.
The smell of rotten food and take out was revolting, the twins must have only come back a couple of times but why? Holding my nose I made my
way back awaiting Liz who gave me a look of confusion, but shrugged it off walking into the pitch-black
forest.
