Maddie came home with so much matters in her head.
She opened the door and walked in absent mindedly.
“You are home!” Kevin greeted her.
“Hey..” She smiled, “Yeah. How are you doing at home?” She approached him, and threw herself at his opened arms.
“Busy as always. Ben made me occupied with his constant hunger…” He sighed and they laughed.
Ben meowed and yawned widely in the background.
“He’s getting lazy day by day.. I don’t know what to do…” Maddie looked at the fat cat and sighed.
“Let him be. He will be a great friend to you..” Kevin laughed.
But Maddie tilted her head up and frowned, “What about you?”
“Me? Am I ‘just your friend’?” He emphazied the words made her blushed.
She didn’t say anything. Besides she was really shy, she really didn’t know what to say.
