“I hope you don’t mind being a friend with an old guy like me.” Sam uttered while focused on the road.
They were on the way to Maddie’s home.
Maddie thought about it. Samuel was Kevin’s teammate and his classmate, of course he was as old as Kevin. If there was any age difference than it would be no more the one or two years.
She never have any problem with Kevin. She in fact, enjoyed it. So, she didn’t see any problem with it.
“That’s okay with me…” She said and Sam was delighted.
But Kevin never saw her with those nasty eyes.
“I’m sorry if Claire caused some trouble and bothered you. She was cranky because me and her mom were divorced. So I guess she sometimes threw some tantrum or behave like a mean girl but I promise you she is the sweetest girl ever.” He explained.
