Moments later, another contraction hit, causing me to groan, just as I felt two large hands roll me on to my back.
"Violet, no, Violet, baby, please be okay. Please talk to me," Robert's worried voice reached my ears, as his hands checked me for wounds, before pulling some of my hair off of my face.
