ANELISA'S POV (continued)

We were writing our last paper today and I'm so happy I'm finally going home to my family. Final examinations are over and I can't wait to get my results in January.

(Anelisa's matric journey was finally over and her wish to go to varsity kept on getting strong and stronger everyday•••••••••The festive season was also approaching and everyone was happy they were done with HIGH SCHOOL but only the results could determine that in January)

(Fast forward Anelisa got to the villages and she saw Chris)

Anelisa: Hey Chris how are you doing?

Chris: Hello Lisa, I'm doing fine thanks and how about you?

Anelisa: I'm also doing great. It's been long since we last spoke and now I'm confused if we are still an item or what?

Chris: Uhm Lisa I thought you moved on and continued with your life.

Anelisa: How could I move on while I'm still inlove with you Chris?? And besides we never ended things between us.

Chris: Eish I'm sorry Lisa but I have moved on and I thought you also did the same cause we lacked communication. How can I stay in a relationship whereby we don't talk?

Anelisa: I thought you loved me Chris but clearly I thought wrong. You know matric can be so overwhelming instead of waiting for me to come back home and talk things out you moved on and here you are now accusing me of cheating.

Chris: I did love you but when the communication lacked the spark also left Lisa. I can't stay in the relationship whereby I don't feel the spark anymore and I'm not accusing you of cheating Lisa.

Anelisa: Whatever Chris good luck with your new partner. Bye....(Lisa hurried home and she was not believing what she just heard•••••• She couldn't believe that she and Chris are over. She loved Chris wholeheartedly and it is going to take her time to finally heal from what happened today••••She couldn't wait for varsity to start over her life and continue following her dreams of being successful one day and help her mother)

CHRIS'S POV

I used to love Lisa but when we didn't talk I started loosing my love for her. She is a good girl and I know she will bounce back. I just hope she will forgive me for what I did to her. I should atleast apologize to her. But what's done is done there's no going back. She will find a better boyfriend than me and treats her better.

(Chris called Lisa and apologized to her for what happened today and Lisa was not having it. She just listened without responding until Chris was done and she hang up the phone)

FEW WEEKS LATER••••••••

(It was now January and matric results were getting announced the following day••Lisa was very happy she is finally going to get her results and go to varsity •••She had high hopes she performed well and she couldn't wait for the following day....She didn't sleep throughout the night waiting for the matric results sms she registered for but she didn't receive any sms during midnight so she waited until 6am to check her results online. ••••••••• it was now 6am and Lisa was already ready to check her results and guess what she did it!!!)

ANELISA'S POV

Wow I did it hooray!!!!(she jumped with happiness as she looked at her results) I got a bachelor's pass with a Mathematics distinction!!! I also got a letter from University of Johannesburg to study in the field of Engineering. I can't wait to be one of the Orange army. I should register quickly once the registration portal opens before the program gets full.

(Lisa's dream of going to varsity was finally coming true. She prepared the registration fee and everything she would need when she registered•••••• She was now one t she didn't get the merit bursary and she was self funded••••••••Lisa's parents were happy that their girl is going to varsity but once they heard that they will be paying her school fees they decided that she should take a gap year and go work to save money to go to school•••••• Lisa's heart was shattered she thought they were saving money to take her to varsity cause they once told her they will save up for her. Lisa decided to take her savings to pay for the February month as she would only attend for that month and after she would get deregistered from the institution ••••• She was not happy at all with what her parents did to her and she stood up for herself. )

Anelisa: So dad you are not going to pay for my school fees?

Mr M: Lisa I don't have money. I have to pay for the car and I have debts.

Anelisa: Then why did you let me register?? You even gave me money for registration but now you cannot pay for my fees? (Lisa started doubting if she was their child because how can they deny her the opportunity to go to school when they know clearly that it is her dream to go to school)

Mrs M: We thought you had a bursary Lisa that's why we gave you the registration fee.

Anelisa: Do you even love me guys??

Mrs M: What are you talking about Lisa??? You should go to work Lisa and save money for your school fees. You're old now we can't do anything you want.

Anelisa: You see what I'm talking about??? Actually I'm going back home to refresh my mind.

(Lisa couldn't bear staying with her parents anymore so she went to school and attended for a few weeks before she could deregister. She was angry at her parents and she decided to leave from school and go straight to the villages to stay with her grandmother. Her grandmother was so disappointed in Lisa's parents after hearing what happened but she supported Lisa. Lisa couldn't sit and do nothing so she would sometimes help at the local shops to get some cash••••• She would sometimes drop off her Curriculum vitae for incase there are job opportunities at the nearby businesses. She was clearly the girl she thinks she is. She wanted to go to school so bad that she would take any job to save money for varsity next year•••••••••)

ANELISA'S POV

Things have been tough for me but I kept on going. I wanted to see myself succeed. I have to conquer this challenges no matter what challenge I'm going to face I must conquer it. I have to go to Varsity. I need to make it and yes I will make it. My grandmother has been my biggest supporter so far she clearly understands what I want and I'm determined to get it.
