( Anelisa is the girl she thinks she is so she moved on from Rethabile and focused on Chris and looked forward for Grade 9 as she passed her Grade 8 badly for Rethabile he had to repeat Grade 8•••••••••••Anelisa spent her festive season with Chris and they were the best couple in the villages plus they also looked together. They were so happy together until it was time for Anelisa to go back to the city life. Chris had no choice but to let her go as her parents did not want her to attend school there..)
Chris: Eish baby I cannot believe you're going the festive season got over sooner than we expected and i hope I'll see you during the school holidays.
Anelisa: Don't worry my love I'll will come visit during school holidays and I had a very great time with you my love. I'm going to miss a lot Chris.(holds his hands)
Chris: Me too baby (chuckles)
Anelisa: You too what Chris?? don't make me angry please
Chris: I enjoyed spending time with you and I'm also going to miss you dear. I love you so so much baby girl. Come here (he pulls her close for a hug )
Anelisa: I love you too...( they kiss each other and hug for a long time before Anelisa goes)
Chris: (breaks the hug) Safe travels baby call me when you arrive bye sweetheart.
Anelisa: I'll call you baby and be safe my love.
(Anelisa went back to the city and it was time for schools to reopen and she was looking forward to learn new things. New year, new Grade and New Anelisa who had changed after her first rejection. Anelisa started being interested in girls but she never had the chance to date one that when she knew she was bisexual. But she focused on her love Chris and their relationship. FEW MONTHS LATER•••••••••••• Anelisa was happy that she was going to see Chris again as she last saw him during September holidaysand now they were writing November examinations and Anelisa was changing schools next year as she was going to do Grade 10. She was so happy to finally change schools plus she was getting bored by Rethabile being a nuisance. She used to talk with Chris everyday on phone calls and she was so happy he checked on her during holidays because that were the only times Anelisa could get a chance to hold her phone. The year was going faster than expected soon the festive season was arriving. )
ANELISA'S POV
This year is going faster than I imagined and I'll be seeing Chris in a few weeks to come. And guess what that boy Rethabile thought I was not over him and he kept on following me around the school during break and I don't know why because he rejected me when i tried to reach out and talk with him. I'm a big girl and big girls don't cry over a boy. Anyways I got a new phone since my old phone was stolen at home. Daddy is literally the best he is not stingy like mom he knows that teenagers these days have phones and he really understands me so much even though we ain't that close.
(schools closed and Anelisa was at home with her parents)
Mr M: Anelisa we found you a new school and you will be doing your Grade 10 there.
Anelisa: Thank you so much I'm so happy to change schools atleast I will see you everyday.
Mrs M: But just know the school doesn't have Commerce related subjects so you'll have to do Science.
Anelisa: I wanted to do commerce mom but it's fine I'll see what I will choose.
Mrs M: Okay girl..
(soon they went to the villages and Anelisa saw her Chris and they were so happy to see each other. Their relationship is growing and they have hit their 1 year anniversary. They were the power couple. They loved each other so much but Anelisa was told what Chris does behind her back but she didn't believe them as some people lie to ruin other people's relationships. Anelisa wanted a solid proof to believe. The way they loved each other you wouldn't suspect anything fishy•••••••••• Anelisa was Chris's tag along every where Chris went he went with Anelisa. They went to parties together, pools and events together. They were inseparable once they be together. Love was in the air and Anelisa felt so special in the eyes of Chris but she didn't give him her innocence. The festive season was really nice for both Anelisa and Chris. They would talk for hours during phone calls. They were too comfortable around each other and they were going to the same Grade next year so they will be able to help each other with school work since Anelisa won't be returning to boarding again next year, that was the best part of next year they will talk everyday and help each other also share question papers and Memorandums.)
ANELISA'S POV
The year went on fast and I found myself in a new school surrounded by new people and new environment. I was doing Grade 10 at this new school and it was a technical school. I knew few people from the school and they were in their Matric year. But I found new friends within a week. They would tell me about their previous classes and I'll laugh until my stomach hurts....
( Anelisa made new friends at the new school. Their term reports were issued and all the class passed with 100% which means no one got below level 3•••••••• Anelisa was now getting used to stay with her parents and she would see that she wasn't given attention as her little brother who was now in Grade 2.. they cared for him more than Anelisa so Anelisa saved her lunch money to get things she wanted like doing her hair and buying new outfits for an event at school•••••She became independent and even started a money giveaway scheme with her friends at school so she always had money on her She felt rejected by her parents she would ask for something and they would say they don't have money. She understood very well they don't have money but why do they have money when it came to her Lil bro she felt discriminated. •••• Sshe focused more on her studies to get better grades so she could look out for her future. Things were getting tough for Anelisa sometimes she would cry herself to bed when she thought about times her parents scolded her for a small thing without even hearing her explanation. )
ANELISA'S POV
I thought changing schools would be a better idea but I'm starting to regret it. Why am I getting treated so harshly by my parents?? I get it that African parents have got their ways of raising their children but this is way worse than I thought. I would sleep with a heavy heart everyday and the feeling of not knowing what is going to happen the following day••••• I started writing my thoughts in my diary everyday and I got better. I. stood up and dusted myself and I said keep going Anelisa it will make sense one day don't let anyone get in your way to success fight for your success Anelisa. I started to focus more on my. school work and I was one of the top achievers at the end of the year.
