Draken looked down at the city filled with night lights and the traffic.
“ Hmph they all look like ants from here”
“ aren’t you gonna come in and join the party” Charolette said as she joined him in the balcony
“ No I wanna stay here for a while”
“ it was your idea in the first place to have a banquet”
“ the view over here is nice”
Charolette then slowly moved her hand and put it on his. Draken didn’t do anything but kept looking forward
“ what are you doing” Draken said with a smirk
“ Nothing my hands were getting cold”
“ is that do, it feels like your trying to tell me To do something”
“ Maybe iam” she replied
“ then maybe you could warm my lips then”
“ Yeah that seems fair enough”
Draken looked at her and then moved his head towards her. He pressed his lips on her and put both of his hands behind her back. She grabbed his back too.
“ Draken I have……., Never mind I’ll come back later” Zane left as soon as he came.
There was a knock on the door and a certain person entered the room.
“ Yo, old hag how you’re doing” she said as she lit her cigarette
“ who let you in here” Susan said expressionless
“ come on don’t be stingy I’ve come to meet you all the way here from the next room”
“ that joke isn’t funny” she turned around in her bed to face the opposite direction
“ more importantly what do you want” she said in a serious tone
“ well you do know how to get to the point”
“ Then tell me, how are you alive” Christina asked
Christina suddenly remembered she had gone in overdrive.
“ Dr Seth” Susan said
Christina then averted her attention towards her
“ that man was a genius, a mad genius”
“ He developed a solution that could let elites use their overdrive without dying”
“ I was the first one to try it and by the looks of It it worked”
Christina and Susan went silent for a while then asked.
“ We’re these mass produced”
“ Yes”
“ Where are the solutions now”
“ Over here” jackal suddenly came in the room and tossed Christina a vial.
“ You…? Where did you get these” Susan asked
“ Found them from the facility” jackal replied
“ the facility!!! Where’s Dr Seth’s?”.
“ he’s dead” he said with a cold stare
“ I see” she replied realizing what happened
“ what do we do with this” jackal asked
“ leave them with me now we’ll talk with the rest what will happen”
“ So how was it” the man in a cloak asked a woman approaching her on the rooftop.
“ How was what” she asked
“ being the assistant for the emperor”
“ it was just an order, nothing more than that more importantly what do we do now”
“ I guess we’ll take her with us, nothing wrong with getting more allies”
“ Very well if that’s what you want”.
“Then we’ll leave it at that at that get well soon you old hag” Christina said.
Suddenly a missile destroyed the wall which sent jackal and Christina flying back. When the dust submerged Christina saw a helicopter coming and a man coming through the destroyed wall.
“ who are you” jackal screamed.
“ he took up Christina and shifted her in the helicopter”
In the meantime Draken came and saw what was happening.
“ Where did that hole come from and where Susan”
He looked up to see a face in the helicopter door that he hadn’t seen quite a while. Even though his face was not completely clear he could never forget that face. That face with a cloak looked back at him. He took his cloak off to reveal his face. A bandage on the right side of his head which covered his some of his right cheecks and forehead with his eye. Eyes as pointy with pitch black eyes and slightly brown skin. Draken’s eyes widened. He was the one who threatens him back at Christina’s execution but he never expected him to pull this off.
“ Sable what are you doing !!”
“ Don’t mind me I’m just here to pick someone”
“ Sir we have to go now” the pilot said
“ get us out of here then”
“ wait sable”
“ Don’t worry we’ll meet again brother”
With that sentence he went away.
“ oye get a helicopter were gonna go after them”
“ no forget it, we won’t be able to catch him”
“ What do you think you’re doing, kid” Susan asked
“ it’s okay I won’t hurt you commander Susan”
“ I’m not called that anymore”
“ Oh don’t worry you will soon, soon enough”
