“I hope we get out of here soon” Charolette said in a concerned tone
“don’t worry well find a way” Draken reassured
“ weve been stuck in here for a week” Christina said
“Chances of survival be lookin pretty slim” Zane added
“Oye oye if you start speaking like that well never get out, it's okay well find a way” Draken said
“Well, aren't you optimistic” Christina replied.
“ So they were taken away” grey said as he sipped some tea.
“ Where are they being held” he asked
Both of them gave a blank stare
“ right, of course you don’t know” he replied
“ they’re probably held in main sector now”
he looked through the window to look at the skyscraper touching the skies”
“ Right where the boogeyman lives”
He took his last sip and went outside. A cold wind gushed in.
“ I think there a storm coming” Chris said
“ where are you going”
“ To the boogeyman” he said as he started walking in the distance
After a while of walking he had reached his destination. It had started to rain and he was soaking wet. Grey took out a cigarette and lighted a lighter while covering the cigarette so it can burn. He took a big puff and the let it out.
“ now then” he said as grabbed the handle of his sword
“ do I sneak in or just barge at the front door”
While he was thinking of what he was going to do a bright circular light hovered on him.
“ Oye who are you” a guard shot on top of a post.
“ Well I guess sneaking isn’t an option now. He said as he stood in front of the door. He knocked on it. Nobody answered.
“ hello , can I come in please”
“ wait you can’t go in there” a guard shouted
“ Oh well”
Grey put his leg up straight like he was a ballerina and kicked the door. He went inside the main desk to see a lady casually looking at him while chewing gum.
“ what can I do for you”
“ you look awfully calm Infront of someone who just bashed in here who has two swords” grey said
“ well they don’t pay me enough for this s**t” she said as chewed on gum.
“ Oh um yeah I totally understand that I don’t get paid either”
She looked at him with a blank stare.
“ Yeah so do you where Draken is commander of the rebellion, you no great guy”
“ No”
“ oh um can I look for him”
“ No”
“ so your gonna stop me?”
“No”
“ Write you don’t get paid enough”
“ goodbye then thanks for nothing I guess”
He went up the stairs and turned left when he saw a barricade of men in front of him.
“ get in formation and fire”
They all hurdled up in a box formation and started firing. He went to the side of the wall to take cover. He tried to look over but they kept on firing. He looked up at the lights.
“ if I could somehow take out those lights”
He looked over to his side and saw a fuse box
“ how convenient” he said with a smile
He took out his sword and impaled the metal box. After that the lights went off and it was completely dark.
“ oye what happened” one of the soldiers asked
“ he took out the lights”
“ be on your guard he could come anytime”
Suddenly he heard a s***h and grunting sound.
“ oye what happened”
It happened in a moment. All the men were dead and now only one one was left. Grey went behind him and hovered his sword on his neck.
“ a master swordsman is trained to maximize the use of all his senses whereas the normal human being can’t”
“ I believe you may know where my friends are hiding”
“ what makes you think I’ll tell a criminal”
“ so your willing to bet your life on it’?”
“ what’s that voice” charolette said
“ this is not a drill an intruder has breached the perimeter I repeat this is not a drill”
“ looks like someone’s here” Zane said
“ looks like he’s here” Draken said
“ You don’t mean” Zane replied
“ What are you talking about” Christina butted In
“ If I’m correct it should be grey”
“ grey ? “ charolette asked
“ Oh you’ve never met grey, he’s also one of us”
“ man the machineguns, don’t let him pass”
Grey looked at his Side.
“ Not again”
He picked up a small knife that one of the soldiers was carrying. Dashed to the side and threw the knife into the muzzle. When the soldier tried to shoot the whole gun popped anheresoded.
“ Oye he’s coming over here”
But before anyone had time to react grey had already slashed everyone.
He then went Forward as he ran forward he finally found a cell occupied by four people.
“ Oye I’ve come to get you out guys Draken, Zane and um who are you”
He said as he looked at the other Ladies.
“ I’ll explain first get us out of here lad” Zane replied
He took out his sword and cut the bars in half leaving room for them to leave.
“ quick this way, I know how to get out”
“ finally freedom” Christina said.
“ over here” Grey said as he pointed towards the exit.
“ I came through here”
But Before they could exit all the exits closed by shutters.
“ What the.. ?” charolette blurted out .
“ again, again and again how many times do I have to tell you”
They looked above and saw a face all of them were quite familiar with.
“ there is no escaping”
“ so you’ve come out, commander” Draken said
“ honestly yo-”
But before she could finish her sentence Christina jumped 6 feet in the air towards her and punched her in the face and slammed her on the ground.
“ Zane find a way out of here” Draken said
“ grey go with them”
“ what about you” charolette said In a concerned tone
“ Christina may be strong but she’s up against a monster, I’m gonna stay here and help her”
“ make sure you come back alive”
Draken looked at her
“ don’t worry I’ll come back”
When he looked ahead he saw a body flying towards
“ watch out”
Draken pushed charolette away while he himself got slammed In the wall with the body.
“ let’s go” grey said.
The three of them went in the opposite direction.
“ Zane do we know where we’re going”
“ every building like these have a control panel. If I go there I should be able to override the current lockdown”
They ran a little further when the finally found the room.
“ in here grey said”
“ if I rewire this and ..”
Zane said a lot of stuff that grey didn’t understand what he was saying. He was on guard in case just something happened. He was sure someone would come to stop them. No one came.
“ I got it” Zane said
Everything opened now.
“ that was easy” Charolette said
“ a little too easy” grey replied
“ be on your guard anything can happen”
They went further back when they finally found an exit
“ over there” charolette almost shouted.
As they were gonna go outside grey deflected a knife that was targeted at charolette. They all turned immediately.
“ where are you going” the man in the distance said.
“ it’s you” Grey said
“ Get out of here, I’ll fend him off”
Zane took charlotte’s hand and ran outside. It was raining heavily now and thunder was brewing in the clouds.
“ I honestly thought you died back there”
“ well I managed to survive” jackal replied
“ and now your working for the government”
He didn’t say anything .
“ not in the mood to talk then huh”
He suddenly vanished In thin air.
