An ambulance arrived on the scene and the medics trotted over to the policeman asking if they had any injured. The policeman that Cam had been speaking to looked over at him and then back to the medic, shaking his head. A moment later he started back across the driveway toward Cam’s truck. Cam’s confusion about what was happening and what could result from his being there had everything moving in a sluggish and warped sort of way. He could almost forecast what was coming next...
