Four days had passed since Ani had mailed her letter to Cam. She sat cross-legged on the grass out in the front of her school having a cigarette and wondered if he would receive it that day. Maybe he would call, or maybe he would write back... either way she didn’t care, she just wanted to hear from him. She wondered if she should just go out to Red Deer on the weekend to try to visit him. As the sun warmed her arms and face, she closed her eyes, daydreaming about how wonderful their reunion would be. Cam would take her in his arms and hold her. Then he would kiss her and his soft lips would make her stomach jump and her heart flutter... just as the thought of his kiss was doing now.
