"Brett, can you reach Gabe? He's not answering his links."
"No, of the team he took with him, I can only reach Kyle and Spencer. They said they heard gunshots, and Gabe and Evan took off. They were told to stay where they were."
"Fuck." What the hell is happening? Why is this situation so out of control? I need to get a handle on this situation and fast.
"It's time for us to gain control of this situation. We've been working from a disadvantage since they showed up, but it's time for that to end. I'm tired of playing defense." There's a murmur of agreement from the wolves that are still around.
