"Where do you want to go? We have quite some options," Ego suggests as we've been only walking around the fountains and green spots. (Idk the name so the secluded green spaces with either bushes, walls, or fence surrounding a small green area with either trees or flowers or both.) "I don't know. I'm not a person that goes out a lot, so any place is good for me." "You hungry? I know this delicious cafe around here," He perks up. "Just a little bit," And my body betrays me as my stomach loudly growls in protest for the lack of food. "I'm sorry," I wouldn't be surprised if my face were as red as a tomato. "You're definitely hungry," He laughs. I lower my head and let my hair cover my even redder face. "Don't be shy," He stops me by grabbing my hands in his. My gaze is fixed on the floor, but it flicks up when I feel his fingers push the strands of hair covering my face behind my ear. "I don't like it when you cover your face." I noticed how close our faces are and take a step back. "Let's go," He clears his throat, grabs my hand, and walks to where I think is the cafe. Even though I've been in the park before, only a few times due to being denied to come here most of my requests, my eyes take in everything this developed part of Arca, still aware there is way better stuff in Gaia. This time was easier to get permission; not even two minutes after I sent it, I got permission. "We are here." I guess I was too focused on my thoughts; I didn't notice we arrived at the cafe. Since it was inside the park, it took in the theme of the green area. Plants were hanging on its outside walls, using the contrast between metal and wood as decoration. Inside it was just like the outside, but with a pinch of creativity. The cafe kept the same metal-wood relation inside, but to differentiate it from all others, it has small stairs that led to low wooden levels with cage-like structures around, one leading to another, some with nothing and others with chairs to chill on. "I hope you like it here. It's one of my favorites in Primos," He says as we take a seat at one empty table. "So, you don't live here?" I question. "Yeah, I live in Gaia, because of my job. It requires me to live there," He explained shortly. "That's really nice," I comment. "And you live here in Primos, right?" I tense at the question. "Y-Yes. I live here in Primos," Why did I stutter?! "That's really nice," He smiles at me. "Even though it's not as sophisticated as Gaia, which I somewhat prefer since people here aren't as smug and full of themselves as they are in Gaia." "I can imagine. And I also see it since I do bump into a couple of those people in school," I chuckle at some interesting memories and grimace at some not so fond ones. "It's like they have something up their butt," He mumbled under his breath, but it was loud enough for me to hear, so I laughed. "I like your laugh," This immediately made blood flush my pale cheeks and my mouth seal shut. "Welcome to Urban Temptation Cafe, my name is Gav, and I will be your waiter for the day. Do you two have anything in mind you would like to order?" A man with brown skin, beautiful green eyes, lean body wore a space grey apron and dark green uniform shirt with dark blue pants. "Could I please have a glass of water?" I ask. "I would like water too," Ego says. "We'll order our food later," Gav said 'thank you' and left us alone again to get our drinks. "I was taking you for a soda type of girl." "I'm not a fan of the compressed gas in it," I waved him off. "Nor am I much of a fan of juices-" Not like I have money to buy either anyway. "Though if the only option, I will drink it," I shrugged a bit. "I like juice. Sodas, not so much. Too much sugar," He scrunched his face in disgust, making me giggle a bit. "It's a good thing you don't drink it. Leaves more space for sweets," A beautiful smile broke his lips that made my heart skip a beat. "Sorry to interrupt, here are your drinks," Gav placed our drink in front of us and took out a transparent glass pad to take our orders. "Have you two decided what you are going to order?" "I would like a pecan and cardamom bun," I spoke first before taking a sip of my water. "With a hot chocolate, please, and thank you," I mutter the last part more to myself but made sure Gav heard it too. "What about you sir," He turned to Ego as he took notes of my order. "I would like a dark chocolate strudel with an iced coffee," Gav nodded his head and walked away. "I always ask that whenever I come here," Ego turned to look at me. "Jaynelle, the waitress that always gets my orders, tells me to get something different, but I just like the strudel so much," He chuckles to himself. "That's her over there." I turn my head around to where he is pointing and see a gorgeous girl with shiny chocolate brown hair, going all the way down to her hips. Her tan skin and perfect body made me feel self-conscious. That must be why he likes it here. "Too bad she is a b***h," My head snaps back to him with a surprised look marrying my face. "How so?" I have no problem with people cursing since Valrie and Sarina do it a lot, but I never took him as someone who would. "She has a good guy as a boyfriend, yet she keeps hitting on me. Not that I am not complaining of having a pretty lady doing so, but she's a cheater and mean to her coworkers. I like girls who are nice to everyone," His eyes move from her, filled with disgust, to me, in which they sparkled, and a small smile played on his lips. "Tell me more about yourself," He places his elbow on the table and leans his head on his hand. His beautiful eyes never leaving mine. His striking blue eyes will be the death of me. ------- Thank you for reading my story. Make sure to follow me! :)
