Chapter Five
NATHAN
I leave the college campus with a heavy feeling in my stomach. I had to teach a late class today, and I know that Zeke will probably be done with work in not too long.
It’s not like I haven’t seen him all day, until I had to leave for class, but I still want to see him again. And I was also invited to go out for drinks with some colleagues today. But that feels so boring, so tedious.
I don’t really want to socialise with colleagues today, although, it’s probably the better option.
“Nahan!” Robert from the office next to mine, calls out and I wait, turning around. “Hey. You were leaving so quickly. You really don’t want to join us for drinks?”
I shrug. “Had a busy week, I think I’ve got a lot of work to do.”
