Transport

You tried to sacrifice my brother, so you could be with me?" Anger began to fill me. "It wasn't like that." "It was like that. GET OUT!" I commanded. "Lexi.." "I SAID GET OUT!" I commanded again, this time releasing my full aura. I couldn't get the tears to stop flowing. Keenan stood for a moment looking at me before he turned and walked away, leaving me in my hospital room alone. I was then restrained to the bed. Throughout the day, many nurses, aids, and a doctor came to check on me. The doctor informed me that he wouldn't administer any pain medication unless I ate something. Food was brought to me but didn't seem appealing. The pain from childbirth was excruciating, but the pain of having my pup ripped out of my arms was more severe. I would have ripped every last wire off of me and ran after my pup's father if he didn't have them restrain me to the bed. "Hi Alexandria. Your ride is finally here, so I'm going to get you dressed to leave. Unfortunately your clothes were ripped and there were no belongings left for you." A nurse came in remorsefully saying. "I had a bag. They must have left it in the woods. I'm sure they brought me everything I need. Where are my parents? I'm glad they came." "Your parents? No, no. Your husband had a driver come back to pick you up. He's in the hall. We gave instructions to the facility he is to take you to for your treatment. He said you're going to a specialist. You were given special stitches that will dissolve once the wound heals, so you won't need to come back, but we do want you to take it easy for a while, so they won't tear." "I don't want to go with him. And that man was not my husband. You should not have let my son go with him. He is a sociopath and abusive. I was running from him and I'm sure he would have ripped my son out of me if he could have." "What? Oh, you didn't eat. They shouldn't have given you your medicine without food. You're probably really confused right now. Here, try to eat some bread." "I don't want bread. I want my baby!" I yelled. "You need something on your stomach with the medicine, honey." She pleaded. "I didn't have any medicine. Look at your chart. I feel all the pain still. I don't want bread. I don't want that disgusting oatmeal or whatever it is. I want my child in my arms!" "I can help with that" a tall lanky looking guy said after he knocked at the door. "Who are you? Doesn't matter. How can you help me?" I asked. "I can take you to the facility where he is. There is a room being set up for you." "Thanks, but I don't want it. I want to go home. To my house. With my pup and my parents." "I know and I am sorry. I'm just here for transport. I told them you wouldn't trust me and they told me to remind you that this is in the room you and your pup would be reunited." He said in an apologetic tone. "Fine. Unshackle me. Let's go." I knew I wasn't getting anywhere with him. "Still refusing to eat? That's okay." A doctor walked in. " That's okay. You'll be unconscious for most of the ride." He pulled out a syringe and filled it with fluid and injected it into my hip. At first, I felt the burn of it tearing through my thigh. Slowly the room became a blur. I had a hard time comprehending the voices I was hearing. I felt I was being moved. "Are you okay? We are almost there." "Agh, George. Could you please try not to hit every bump. That sedative did nothing for the pain." I moaned out. "Gregory, Miss Alexandria." "What?" I asked, confused. "My name is Gregory, not George. Miss Alexandria." "Well Gregory, I go by Lexi. So why did they send you alone to transport me? What if I killed you?" "Well, that's why. I can't be killed. I don't have much strength, magically you know. I hope you believe I don't mean you any harm. I'm just doing what I've been instructed." "I understand." I looked out the window, trying to catch a glimpse of a sign on the highway. "Mom.. Dad... Can you hear me?" I attempted to mindlink. A few minutes had passed and I didn't get a response. "Mom.. Dad.. if you can hear me I'm being transported from the hospital to some kind of facility. Andre has my pup. They said they are taking me to him. I'm on route 75 now going West..." "Your eyes are glossed over. Are you trying to contact your wolf or something? I don't know how that works, but they told me you won't be able to shift until you are healed, and the wolfsbane is out of your system. Please don't tell me you are trying to kill me. I promise I'm not here to harm you. I'm just taking you to your baby." Gregory looked at me from the rear view mirror. "Umm.. Yes. She seems drained and is really upset. You're not the one she wants to kill. Plus we need you to get to our pup." I tried to reassure him. "...Lexi... Lexi.. Can you hear me?" I faintly heard. "Dad? Yes! I can hear you. Did you hear me? I'm on route 75 being transported West and Andre has my pup. I dont' know where they are taking me. Can you track me?" "Lexi... Oh baby girl. I don't know if you can hear me but we are not giving up.... Your dad is trying to use a location spell to find you... Family will always be connected." "Mom, I can hear you. Can you hear me?" "Oh, if we could just hear your voice. I just want to know you and my grandpup is okay. Please, Lexi, try to break through. You're stronger than you know. Let out your full aura honey. We will find you wherever you are baby.." My mom pleads. "Mom... Dad... Please tell me if you can hear me? I hear you! 75 West. Mom.. Dad.." "Oh goddess please protect our baby" I heard my mom cry. "Mom.. I'm here..." I tried to press forth my full aura to get the message out. "Fvck!" I heard Gregor yell as he swerved on the highway. I tried to open the door and noticed I couldn't unlock it. I tried to kick the windows and door but to no avail. Pain began to seer though my body. I immediately knew I had ripped the stiches. "Miss Alexandria, please stop. I can't breathe. The car is spellbound. You won't be able to get out. All the magic is staying inside. Please Miss Alexandria we are almost there." Gregory cried out. "I can hear them." I cried, holding my stomach and pulling my aura back. "The spell?" He asked confused. "My parents. They are looking for me. I can hear them but they can't hear me" I cried, moving my hand from my stomach to my face. "You're bleeding. Oh no. The car is spellbound. They said no one would be able to communicate with you. They promised it would be an easy transport. Not threat of ambush." "It doesn't matter that I can hear them. They can't hear me." I cried more. "Miss Alexandria please don't let them know that you can hear your parents. They will sedate you, and you won't be able to see your baby today. I know that's what you want, right? Here is a napkin. Please stop crying. We are almost there where you can see your pup." He pleaded. "Fine! I just want to get to my pup. I have to keep him protected." I sat quietly for the remainder of the drive trying to mentally track the route so I'd know when it's time for escape. Eventually we arrived to a largely wooded area. Or so it seemed like a wooded area. It looked as though Gregory was going on an off road path but as soon as he crossed a barrier I saw it was a facility that was being cloaked as a forest.
