I leaned my head back against my wall as I waited for my food to finish cooking. Ever since Brian came along, I had been cooking a lot because he always asked for food, a lot of it. I turned over the pancake which was cooked to perfection. I was going to give him that to eat with some maple syrup and apple juice. I had enough food stacked in the pantry to last me a very long time but now that he was around, it would barely last us two weeks.
