Chapter Six “I don’t understand why you just can’t tell me,” Annie said. She was buckled into the passenger side of Zac’s pickup. It was one of those newer models with dark blue cloth seats and a lot of features, a style that seemed to fit him. He was an interesting man, quiet at times, deep and brooding, a man whose demeanor could fool someone into thinking he was one of those nice guys who kept to himself, minded his own business, and did his own thing.
