Chapter Five
She was the most beautiful woman he’d ever laid eyes on, and she was giving all her attention to Zac, talking to him as if he were her confidant. By the way she flushed and glanced down, he knew he’d caught her talking about him behind his back.
“Sean, I didn’t hear you come down,” she said, glancing to Zac, who was standing rather close to her—too close for Sean’s liking.
Zac made no move to step away from Annie. As he turned and faced him, his expression gave nothing away.
“What the f**k, Zac?” Sean said. “Are you moving in on my wife?”
“Don’t be an asshole,” Zac replied. This time, he stepped away from Annie, tucking the sunglasses in his hand back into his shirtfront and then stepping toward Sean as if he was going to kick his ass.
