My mother's funeral was both sad and terrifying. Many people came from Texas to say goodbye to her, including her friends and customers from the café. As well as neighbors and friends of Arthur; the place was packed. My grandparents and Lucke were with me the whole time, trying to give me encouragement and support. But it was very difficult when you watched your mother being buried underground forever, knowing you would never see her again, she would never smile at me again, never scold me or give me lectures that I would end up loving, none of that ever again. I didn't know how much I had cried, but it was a lot. I wiped my tears every so often, but everything got worse when the priest asked me to say a few words of farewell for my mother. I had to swallow the lump in my throat and speak
