“Yes!” Landon says with no waver of concern or question in his voice.
Leo looked at Landon first, then back at me. “Absolutely, if you will have me. We will, of course, take it slow. All at your pace.” The hope in his eyes made my heart skip a beat, maybe I could do this?
“There will be rules. Kate will be marrying me and will have my child first when she is ready.”
“Of course” Leo replied like it was obvious.
“Honesty at all times and everything is on Kate’s terms.”
I liked that last one and just nodded along as I was still trying to process it all. If I truly think logically, and with my heart of course, could I think of Leo like that? Be in a relationship with him? Fall in love with him
