"How much did my grandfather pay you?"Din inquired. "I will double the payment if you back out of this marriage." Jessie made a sneering remark. "You're a lunatic." She walked right by him and into the bedroom. "This is my personal space. This place's key was given to me by the receptionist. Perhaps there was a blunder somewhere." "Mistake?" Din approached her. He has his hands in his pockets. "You're attempting to play games with me, that's all I see. I'm afraid I won't be able to marry you. I am in love with someone." Jessie shouted, "Stop talking about marriage!" "We must have landed up in the same room due to a mix-up someplace. I have no idea who you are. I have no recollection of ever meeting you." She walked over to the table and took her purse. "I'll go over to reception and express my dissatisfaction. You are welcome to use the room." "I am not going to take this room. You've already visited this location. I'll just have to complain and ask for a different room. One that is larger." Jessie snorted once more. This man was starting to irritate her. "You're a kid," she said as she stepped out the door and walked to the elevator. "Did you say something?" Din inquired, but she remained unresponsive. Before entering the elevator, she waited for it to open. Din had intervened to prevent it from closing and had accompanied her inside. They didn't say anything till they arrived at the reception. Complaining all the way there. Jessie had taken out her phone and called up Taylor's telephone number. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that this was not the night she had agreed upon. Din had also arranged for a meeting with a buddy at the reception. "Calm down, please." The receptionist fixed his gaze on the computer in front of him. "There was, in fact, a blunder. Please accept my heartfelt apologies." "How would you manage a room with two cards?" Din was the one who inquired. "There was a key, and the cards were intended to be used in an emergency. The key was provided to Miss Walker, while the card was presented to you. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Do you want me to suggest another room?" "Please, yes." Din smirked. He wasn't going to stand there with that disguising woman for another minute. "What's the matter, Jess?" Taylor questioned as she dashed over to her pal. "Due to a mistake, we found ourselves in the same room. He wouldn't stop accusing me, claiming that I trailed him in order to compel him to marry me." Din was pointed out by Jessie. "What the hell?" Taylor commented. "Taylor, I didn't sign up for this. I'd like to return home." Jessie remarked. "Relax and take it easy. Let me clear things up for you." Assuring Jessie. Taylor moved over to Din "Excuse me, sir; I have no idea who you are, but you should not have spoken to my friend in that manner." Din gave Taylor a sidelong glance. "Do I know you?" he inquired. Taylor swallowed her saliva and cleared her throat. "No, you don't know who I am, and I don't know who you are, but my..." She was about to yell when she noticed a man she recognized approaching them. Will inquired, "What is happening here?" Taylor let out a sigh of surprise. "I know who you are. Mr. Williams Jones, you are the son of Mr. Lazarus Jones." Taylor extended her hand, anticipating a shake. "And you are?" Will asked as he snatched her hand in his. "I'm a huge fan! Taylor McCarthy , to be precise." "Oh, I see, Mrs. Taylor McCarthy, nice to meet you." As he let go of her hand, Taylor shook her head. "I'm not married yet. Miss is still a miss." She laughed a little nervously. Will turned to face his friend and said, "All right." He murmured, "What's going on?" He dragged his friend to a corner to chat. "I told you she was following me. I found her in my bathroom, removing her clothing." Din cast a sidelong glance at Jessie. "What?" "Williams, I didn't sign up for this. I'd like to return home." Din remarked. "Are you insane?" Williams enquired. Din smirked. "You're fortunate to have met her here tonight. You should take advantage of this opportunity to get to know her so that you can marry her and gain control of the company. Your grandfather will not give up the company if she refuses to marry. Do you want Henry to be the one to keep the company?" With a shake of his head, Din reflected his dissatisfaction with the disaster. "Exactly! As a result, get on her good side and marry her. After that, the rest will happen." Din let out a sigh of opportunity. His pal was correct. If he wants to keep the company, he needs to be on her good side. "How should I proceed?" Din was the one who inquired. "When you get to the club, ask her to dance." I'm guessing she's headed to the club as well, based on her attire." Will emerged from the corner, accompanied by Din. "And apologize to her." He whispered. He questioned, "Why should I?" "Think about the company." Din suppressed his pride and made his way over to Jessie. "I am truly sorry for what occurred earlier. I mistook you for someone else." Jessie, who was seated, raised her eyes to him. "You should never do anything like that. Never talk to a lady, any lady like that but I won't hold a grudge because I don't hold grudges." "Let me assist you in getting up." Din extended his hand, which she accepted. She immediately stood up and released her hand from his. "Sir, the problem has been resolved." According to the receptionist, Din suggested that Jessie occupy the room, but she declined. "How about I buy you a drink and we start over?" Din inquired, but he was enraged on the inside for being so courteous to her. He would go to any length for the company. "I'm not sure I..." Taylor nodded as she looked at her. "That's all right. I'll take the drink if you give it to me." she stated. "Now that we've settled that, let's go to the club." Will muttered, as Taylor followed him. Din and Jessie strolled side by side. As they walked into the club, Taylor said to Will, "This is my party." "Really?" Will asked. He was perplexed. She wasn't shabby either. She was thin and attractive. The kind of lady that goes for her dreams. Taylor smiled and nodded. "Today will be the first day of serving my new brand. Plensa diferente." When she saw Will's befuddlement, she grinned. "Think Different--is what it means." Will remarked, "It's strange how I've heard about it." "Have you?" Taylor's face revealed a startled expression. Will smiled and nodded. "Last night, my father and I discussed it. I had no idea I'd be seeing the creator here tonight. But why in Spanish?" "Spanish, on the other hand, sounds pleasant to the ear." He smiled and nodded. "I have a feeling this is going to be a fun party." "Well, I have a feeling those two will turn into something powerful before tomorrow morning," says Taylor, directing what she said to Jessie and Din. "On that point, I concur." Will and Taylor started laughing. Before she left to mix cocktails, Taylor hugged Jesse. "Come on," Din said. He guided Jessie to the bar by placing his hand on the lower back of her waist. As Jessie had requested, he had ordered a cocktail with Taylor's champagne included in it. Jessie was pleased with her friend's accomplishments. "I appreciate it." Jessie was the one who took the cocktail from him. "I guess we'll have to start afresh. Jessica Walker here." Din took her hand as she extended it. "Din Cooper," he said. He forced a grin on his lips. "All right, so you came here to party with your friend?" she inquired. "You don't appear to be a party animal. It appeared that you were compelled to come here tonight." Din smiled and nodded. "It seems that you, too, were dragged out here." Jessie laughed. "Everyone's got their own s**t going on." She stated her case. "Really?" Jessie smiled and nodded. "So, what exactly is your s**t? Divorced?" After he stated those words, Jessie locked her gaze on him. "I'm really sorry," Din apologized. "No, it's fine. I'm not married. My fiance had just abandoned me." She downed the beverage in one gulp. "Be careful," he cautioned. "Hmm. What about you? I'm Sure you also have some s**t going on." Jesse said as she set down the goblet and placed an order for a heavier alcoholic beverage. She only wants to get drunk and then go back to her room to sleep or suffer from a hangover. Din paused for a moment. "Don't worry, I won't question you. This is a secure location. Tell it as it is," she stated. He asked, "Have you ever been in a situation where you don't make your own decisions but allow others to do it for you?" Jessie could empathize. It made her think of Marco Anderson. "That's my nonsense." Din isn't sure why he's confiding in her. He never confides in Beth. He detested the lady in front of him, but he sensed she, too, was in excruciating pain. "Well, I can relate to that since I have always been perfect for my ex-fiance, and he has never seen me weep in the eight years we were with." "Wow, that's deep." "I know, and he wanted me to stop singing. I can't stop singing; it's my goal. He wants me to marry him and become a housewife, focusing solely on him. I had to tell him no; I needed to put myself first for once, and he became angry and left me," Jessie explained. Din requested a heavier alcoholic beverage. They clinked their glasses together. "All I can say is that you are a strong woman. Let's cheer for that." "To happiness," they both said.
