I feel like a zombie, the sugar I’ve consumed keeps me awake, but my brain stopped functioning about an hour ago. The sugar high is real right now, between the Halloween cake and the candy, I’ve had more sugar in one night than I’ve had in the last six months.
But I’m happy that Jake seems to get along well with the other guys. After he came back inside from having a smoke with Mal, they talked music for over an hour, just in their own little bubble, like the rest of us didn’t even exist.
It made me smile. Jake is so sociable, he can really make anyone talk to him for hours, no matter the subject or how much he knows about it. And that’s also his most dangerous skill, because it works on me too...
