Chapter 34
Marlene's POV . . Jake woke me and I felt angry. He said he was making sure I was ok, How can he stand there and ask if I am ok when they have locked me in here. I yelled at him and tried so hard to get out of these blasted binds. He decided to lay with me and hold me through my fit of anger. The moment he wrapped his arms around me and our skin came in contact with each other, I felt a wave of calm. I tried to fight it, but couldn't seem to hold onto the anger that was once there. It was like being wrapped in a warm blanket of security I have always secretly longed for. My anger soon turned to sadness and eventually I started to fall back to sleep. I cannot remember a time where I felt this at ease. The dream I seem to be having a lot lately came, but this time it was different. In
