Chapter 26
I have been sitting in this chair for over an hour and she is still not awake. . . . . There is a knock on the door, I sigh before getting up to open it. I open the door to find Sarah and the doctor standing there. "come in." I say while stepping aside. The doctor walks in first with Sarah following behind tentatively. I can tell she has been crying, but don't say anything. I turn to see the doctor checking Marlene over. "Her blood pressure is low, but not to concerning. She should have woken up already. We can either wait some more or I can try giving her something to reverse the sedation." The doctor stated while keeping her eyes on Marlene. "Please wake her. We need to figure out what happened and only she has those answers right now." I ask the doctor. She simply nods and
