"May I come in Mr. Scott?" A tall man with black suit knocked the wooden door gently two times and asked.
"Come in." A voice came from inside the room.
When the order came, the man outside opened door and entered.
There was only one person in that room. A person in his sixties. A person with dominant aura. Although he is in his sixties still age didn't able to decrease his charm. After all he is Andrew Scott's father, William Scott. The former president of Coscott company.
Old Mr. Scott looked back at him and asked," What's the news?"
"Well it's true. Young master is married." The subordinate said to William Scott with his head down.
Old Mr. Scott sighed. Then looked at the subordinate and asked again," Whose the girl?"
"Mia Swift. A wedding planner in a small company." He replied.
"Just a small wedding planner?" Old Mr. Scott looked at him with his sharp eyes.
"How can a small wedding planner be my daughter-in-law? How can my own son fall for a small wedding planner." He gritted his teeth and asked. Then he shook his head helplessly.
"From where my good for nothing son picked up that cheap girl?" Old Mr. Scott looked back his subordinate and asked.
The subordinate was about to say something but Mr. Scott stopped him. Then Mr. Scott sat on the sofa and remained silent for a few moments.
"Make sure that it will be secret for the time being." Old Mr. Scott warned his subordinate.
"And inform your people to keep an eye on the reporters there. No matter what but they have to hide this marriage from them."
"Sure Mr. Scott." That subordinate of Old Mr. Scott assured him.
"And if they failed to do so...then.." Mr. Scott looked at the subordinate with the corner of his eyes.
"Don't worry about it Mr. Scott." That subordinate replied to him and tried to assure Old Mr. Scott again.
"Well then." Old Mr. Scott replied to him and then ordered him to leave.
Andrew reached in front of the door with Mia in his arms. He carefully unlocked the door knob with one hand and opened the door. He placed Mia on the master bed carefully. Then he covered her with a quilt and adjusted the room temperature.
Then Andrew entered the washroom to take a shower. He was busy to take shower. On the other side Mia was sleeping soundly.
Suddenly Mia's phone rang which woke up Mia from her sleep. Mia didn't even saw who was call her in this late night. Without looking at the number she took the call. She was still half asleep.
"Hello." Mia said with her sleepy voice.
"Mia...my darling." A loud voice came from the phone.
It was Linda. Her shouting immediately made Mia awake. It was so loud that Mia took her phone away from her ear but still she could listen her voice.
After a few seconds Mia placed her phone again on her ear and asked, “Linda, why are you shouting like this?"
"I'm not deaf." Mia again said.
"Because I missing you." Linda said.
Mia sighed.
"Why? What happened?" Mia asked.
"Did your new boyfriend ditch you?"
"Ditch me? Mia can you even say that?" Linda became excited.
"How can that son of a b***h ditches me?" Linda's voice became a few decibels louder.
"I ditch him. I broke up with him."
"You know what Mia that guy, he was cheating on me with another girl. How dare he is?"
Linda said all these things almost in one breath.
"Alright calm down, calm down. Calm down first." Mia comforted her.
"Take a deep breath. And release it." Mia ordered.
As Mia ordered Linda did like an obedient child.
"Good girl." Mia praised her.
"Mia did I just disturb your sleep?" Linda asked.
"Ah... not at all."
"I was actually..." Suddenly Mia remember that she was waiting for Andrew in the hall room. But now she is in the bedroom.
"Linda, I will call you tomorrow. Bye" Then without waiting for Linda's reply Mia disconnected the call.
Mia was thinking how she reached here. Then she was about to place her phone on the bedside table and she saw Andrew's phone was there.
"Mr. Scott is back." Mia said in her own in a low voice.
"Then who bought me here was..." Mia paused a little.
"Andrew Scott." She shouted his full name in a low voice.
Mia immediately scanned the room, there was no trace of Mr. Scott. That means either he is again in his study room or maybe in the washroom. Then Mia looked at the direction of the washroom. The light of the washroom was on. Yes, he is in the washroom.
The door of the washroom is made of with thick glass, it is sound proof. So, whatever he is done with his shower or not, it can't be said.
Mia took a deep breath to summon up some courage. She has to apologize, although she was not sure how, but still she has to and she made up her mind. She can't risk their marriage just because of her insecurity. And it's just the beginning of their married life, how can she have made him angry.
Suddenly the door of the washroom opened. Mr. Scott came out from the washroom with his white bathrobe on.
Mia looked up at him, he is really very handsome. Mia's gaze came down from his face and fall on his chest, a clean muscular chest. Mia immediately shifted her sight and closed her eyes.
"God. Where are you looking at Mia?" Mia asked to herself in her mind.
"You are awake." Andrew's sexy voice came.
Mia again looked back at him and said with a smile," Ah... yes."
"When did you return?" Mia asked.
" Why did you sleep in the hall room?" Andrew asked her in return.
Mia went silent.
"I was waiting for you." Mia said in her heart.
Andrew raised his one eyebrow and said," Don't you want to answer me?"
"I asked you first." Mia said to him like a stubborn child with pouty lips.
This appearance of Mia is really cute. Andrew thought. Andrew smiled at her and said, " About 20 or 25 minutes ago."
"Now can you answer me, Mrs. Scott." Andrew asked Mia.
"I.... actually..." Mia was about to say with her head down.
"Was waiting for me." Without giving her any time Andrew completed her sentence.
Andrew's heart became warm, someone was waiting for him in his home. This feeling was really new for him.
The corners of Andrew's lips raised up unconsciously. Although Mia didn't notice it as she was not looking at him. But Andrew's full gaze was on Mia.
