CHAPTER 2

Two days passed after the blind date with Mr. Scott. After two days today morning Mia received a text message from Mr. Scott. He asked her for a dinner date tonight. Without thinking Mia agreed for it.
Andrew Scott is a very famous figure in business industry for his achievements in such a young age and also for his behavior. Andrew is very rational, this morning he sent a message to Mia for a dinner date. Well there was a special purpose for Andrew. It was not just a dinner date him.
Andrew is in his cabin right now, he is physically present there but his thoughts were full of Mia. Andrew don’t know why but he feels a special attraction towards Mia. In these recent years Andrew met with many beautiful girls obviously for business purpose not for personal purpose.
There were numerous girls who wanted to approach him because of his temperament they couldn’t achieve their goal. For Andrew relationship is a useless thing which make people weak.
But after he met with Mia his point of view towards life has changed. He met with Mia only for three times. Yes, three times. Mia might think they met only twice but she doesn’t know Camelin Street’s incident was not the first time they met where he helped Mia to beat up those attackers. And it was not a coincident actually Andrew arranged one of his subordinates to follow her from few days and report all the situation to him.
That night his subordinate report him that Mia was attacked by a group of man and report him that she was dealing with them with her own. After being informed Andrew immediately took his car and rushed to the spot, as the location was near his company so it didn’t take long to reach there.
When he got out of the car, he saw exactly what his subordinate said to him on the phone, she was dealing with them with her fighting skills, again Andrew was amused by her. She even knows how to fight.
Just when Andrew was in daze something bad happened. Mia was hit by a rod at the back of her head. When Andrew he rushed towards Mia and just in time, he managed to catch her and prevent her from falling on the road.
When Andrew accidentally touch the back of her head Andrew felt a warm liquid, after realizing the situation Andrew’s face darkened. He blocked the wound with him big palm to prevent excess bleeding. Then Andrew immediately got up, took Mia in his arm and rushed to his car.
When those men saw their pray was leaving, they also rushed to catch her but before they could take two steps forward, they were blocked by several man they were the bodyguards of Andrew Scott. So, they didn’t get the chance to go forward and get Mia.
They saw helplessly that Mia was taken away. It was the incident happened that night.
It was almost the time for the dinner date with Mia. Andrew was in the way to the restaurant the same restaurant.
When he arrived Mia was not there, after about 10 mins Mia also arrived. After greeting each other they took their seats. After finishing the dinner Mia noticed Andrew was somehow absent minded, even during the dinner.
So, Mia asked him, “Mr. Scott what’s wrong? Is everything all right?”
Andrew then looked Mia quietly without saying anything. The atmosphere went silent. That silent and the gaze of Andrew towards her made Mia little uneasy. Mia opened her mouth to say something and then Andrew voice came.
“Will you marry me Ms. Swift?” All of a sudden Andrew Scott said all this to Mia.
It was too sudden for Mia that she almost forgot how to react. After a long pause Mia finally found her words and said “Mr. Scott we don’t even know each other that much, how can we get married all of a sudden?”
“I know. Let’s give it a try then.” Andrew said. Andrew was looking at Mia. And observing every facial changes of Mia.
After listening this Mia was stunned.
“Try!! Mr. Scott do you know what are you talking about?” Mia asked.
“I know.” Andrew nodded his head without any hesitation.
Mia frowned. She became really irritated on this Andrew Scott. In her mind she started cursing her so called best friend Linda Davis.
“How can you take marriage as a trial?” She was frustrated. After a pause Mia asked Andrew Scott.
“It seems like Mr. Scott is taking me as his cloth or something, if I can fit him, he will recognize me and if I don’t, he will just kick me out.” Mia said all this to Andrew Scott. She was still frowning.
“I didn’t mean that.” Andrew said.
In this whole conversation Andrew was maintaining his calm gesture as if he was discussing about any light topic but Mia in the other hand was frustrated and angry.
“Then what are you trying to say Mr. Scott? Please make it clear.” Mia was hard to control herself.
“We are both adults Ms. Swift. We should be more rational than emotional.”
“I’m giving you two days to think about this proposal. Please take your time and think about it carefully.” Andrew said this and was about to leave.
Mia was stunned after listening this, she was just going to say something but Mr. Scott didn’t give her any chance to talk.
Andrew got up, turn around and left.
This time Andrew didn't give her any chance to turn down his proposal like last time. After the study in her Andrew came to know that Mia is a self righteous person. If he would stay any longer Mia would definitely reject his proposal.
Mia was standing there like a fool. She was looking at a leaving figure, a back of a man who just a few moment ago proposed her to marry him. He didn't even give her any chance to deny. Mia was still in a shock. Thanks to the waitress Mia came back to her senses.
"Are you all right Miss?" The waitress asked Mia.
"Hmm?"
"Are you all right?" She again asked.
"Yes." Mia responded.
Then Mia immediately looked back at the door of the restaurant but there was not even the shadow of Andrew Scott.
"Excuse me." Mia addressed to the waitress, then without any delay she ran outside to reach Andrew Scott.
But unfortunately, Mia couldn't able to find him. She was late.
Mia sighed.
