Chapter One - Cravings...

(Hey everyone, here it is. I know the other book ended after Noah was born, but a lot of people have asked to hear about the pregnancy and Noah being born, and that's why I am starting it here :D)  Avery's P.O.V "Avery, wake up." I hear Hailey groan. "Sleeping," I groaned. "Avery, wake up." She repeated but this time in a whimper. The sound of her whimper made me shoot up. She was standing at the side of the bed, crying. "Are you OK? Is our baby, OK?" I said, rushing over to where she was. "Baby is fine." She said, "But I am not; there are no gherkins or carrot sticks left. I ate them all." She added whimpering. I had to bite my lip to stop me from chuckling cause that would make her worse. I looked at the time, seeing it was three a.m. "Noah wants some too," She cried. Noah, our baby boy that she was carrying, she was already six months pregnant. She had been lucky with most of her pregnancy, her morning sickness, headaches, and things like that she never got too bad. Though everything else, the cravings, the mood swings, the horniness, she got them all. She was tiring me out. I never minded, especially since everything she and her body is going through with my baby growing inside of her. "Kitten, don't cry," I said kneeling in front of her. I reached in, wiping her tears away and placed a soft kiss against her lips. "I am sorry I am such a pain in the ass," She pouted. "You aren't a pain in the ass baby girl," I said. "I am. All I do is cry, complain, sleep, get fat and want sex." She huffed. "I still love you gorgeous," I said, "And you aren't fat, you are pregnant, there is a different," I added, kissing her again. I feel a smile creep on her lips when I said that to her. "I love you too," She replied. "Do you want me to go and get you both some food?" I asked, rubbing her belly. She had the cutest baby bump, that seemed to be growing bigger every day. I loved it. "Yes, please, I will come with you because I can't sleep anyway." She said. "You don't have to; you can relax, and I will go," I said softly. "No, I wanna come with you." She said, kissing me softly. I nodded, pulling myself out of bed and pulling clothes on. I grabbed my car keys and then reached for her hand, the two of us heading out. If her parents heard us going out, they would know why. This isn't the first time I have had to go out this early. I don't mind; I've got to look after my girl and my baby boy. Getting her what she needs is the least that I can do. "Your too good to me, baby," She cooed, resting her head against my shoulder. "I would do anything for you, Hailey," I said, kissing the top of her head. I helped her into the car before getting in myself. Luckily there were a few twenty-four stores close by. Hailey rested her head on my shoulder as we got on our way. "What time are you working tomorrow? Please tell me it isn't too early?" She asked. "I start at eleven, not too early," I said. I was working crazy hours; we needed the money for the baby and for eventually getting our own place. Everyone had been great since we found out, helping out any way they can. We appreciate it, we really do, but I wanted to be able to look after my own family, get us a place to call home. I wanted the best for them. "Thank God because I would have felt horrible if you had to be up at six a.m." She said. "It wouldn't have mattered either way gorgeous; I would still have done this," I said, kissing the top of her head. I knew it got to her when she woke me up at these times when she takes her mood swings out on me. I never minded, though. I knew it would all be worth it in the end. "You shouldn't have too. You already work so damn hard, I should be letting you sleep." She whimpered out. "Hey now, don't get upset Kitten. It is part of my role Hailes, to look after you and our boy when he gets here." I said, "I am gonna do what I can for you both." I added. I never wanted to be anything like my own damn father, that was for sure. I wanted to be like Hailey's dad. He was a real man that looks after his family. I want to be able to do that, no matter what it takes. "And I appreciate it, Avery, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes." She said, "I know I am a b***h towards you sometimes, I don't mean to me. It is these damn hormones." She added. "I know sweetheart. I will tease you for it after Noah is here." I chuckled. "Hey, don't be mean," Hailey pouted, a giggle following, "But you know I love you right?" She added, nuzzling my neck. "I know you do. Not as much as I love you, though." I said. "Not possible," She said, kissing my cheek. This was a disagreement we had about ten times a day, who loves who more. It was only us messing around. We loved each other equally. I chuckled, deciding not to fight her on it at this moment, not while she is hungry and not being able to sleep. A comfortable silence fell between us on the rest of the way. "Yay! Food! Oh, I think I want some chocolate ice cream too. What do you think my boy?" She cooed at her belly. She let out a small giggle, something she does every time he kicks. "I will take that a yes then? Mummy thanks you." She said, grabbing my hand, placing it over her bump. I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I loved feeling my boy kick. "I think Noah wants ice cream too," I laughed. "He knows what mummy likes," Hailey said, smiling widely. I couldn't wait for him to get here. Hailey was going to be an amazing mum. She was already doing such a good job, making sure she did everything right by him, being as healthy as she could for him. "I can't wait to see you with him. You are going to be an amazing mummy." I gushed. "I hope so, and you are gonna be an amazing daddy," She said, pressing a soft kiss to my lips. I smiled, hoping that would be true. A part of me was still terrified I would freak and run or turn out like my father. I don't tell Hailey that, it just upsets her when I do and that is the last thing that I wanted. "Come on Kitten," I said, slipping my hand into hers again and going in. "Early morning cravings again sweetie?" Barbara laughed. "Yes. I ran out of Gherkins and Carrots, not good." Hailey giggled. Barbara, who worked behind the counter, knew who we were by now. She was used to me or us coming in at silly o'clock. "No, not good at all," Barbara said. I knew we would be in here for a while. We came here for a couple of things. We would leave with a bag or two full of stuff. I just walked beside her as she put everything in that she wanted. She never got as much as I thought she would have. "That will be Eighteen Dollars." Barabara smiled at us, "Not as expensive as it usually is." She added laughing. "I do not need to get any fatter," Hailey giggled. "Hailey!" I said sternly. I don't like when she called herself that. "I am only messing baby boy, don't get your panties in a twist." She said, rolling her eyes. Hailey and I chatted with Barbara for a bit before heading back out to the car. I could tell Hailey was starting to get tired. As soon as we were in the car, she took the jar of Gherkins out, opening them and digging straight into them. Hailey offered me on, but I shook my head. I don't know how she can eat as many of them, then again, it is what she is craving; it cannot be helped. "You feeling better now?" I laughed as she dug in. "Yes, mama and Noah are happy now." She giggled, “Thank you for being the most amazing boyfriend and daddy.” She added. “Anything for you gorgeous,” I said winking at her. I swear I fall more in love with this girl every second I am with her.
