As the next big tournament is around the corner. Students get another chance to battle their way to the title of Victor. However, with her powers still unknown and her alter ego's conniving, she doesn't think she stands a chance.

who're you?
"Mom? dad? where are you?" There was no answer. The little girl wandered through the empty house. She called out to her parents but there was no reply "Mom dad...am scared" she whimpered ***** "Alistair high is a great school" "for you" "come on Robin it's a terrific school...just perfect for kids like you" Dang. He may as well have painted the word 'delinquent' on her forehead. "Bullshit" "Watch your tone young lady am still your father" "unfortunately" "that's it just...go to your room" the middle-aged man ordered "oh and by the way, you're grounded" "whatever" ***** A green ball bounced off the wall into the girl's hand. She twirled a strand of short black hair and continued throwing and catching the ball. Her face was dark with barely concealed anger. What stupid luck! just a little skirmish and he was ready to send her to the middle of nowhere. It's not like the stupid kid she'd battled with died...at worst he'd be in a coma for a while. She caught the ball and bent to pick a crumpled piece of paper beside her bed. She straightened it out a bit, to see the logo of a fancy bird circled by silhouettes of boys and girls. She rolled her eyes at this. Alistair high. A fancy school for the stinkingly privileged. The perfect school to dump your troublesome kids. And her dad was determined to send her to that hellhole. She squeezed the ball in her hand. Then hurled it with a hateful growl. It bounced off the wall and straight into her mirror. Smash The mirror was shattered. The girl glanced at the mess and pulled out a wooden broom and dustpan under her bed, before sweeping it off. There was still a small shard of mirror left intact. Through the shard, she stared at her reflection. It had short black hair that fell just below her chin. Cat-like eyes with full lashes. A cute button nose and small, round lips. She looked adorable. And she hated it. There was a small cut on her left cheek, under her eye. She clenched her teeth and took out her first aid kit. She grabbed the tweezers and a small piece of cotton wool dipped spirit. Slow and steady she placed the tip of the tweezers on the tiny, sticking out shard of glass, and pulled. Once it was out, she pressed the cotton wool to the bleeding wound. She had zero tolerance to pain and just to remove that tiny bit of glass, her eyes had already turned red with unshed tears. She studied the cut for a while. It'll probably scar. Cool. ***** As the last traces of daylight faded away. Robin slipped out of her room through the window. She climbed down the tree right outside her room. She used to climb down the pipes outside her former room but one night, no thanks to the noise the squeaking pipes made, her father caught her sneaking out and made her change rooms. Which straight up wasn't that smart a move because her new room had a tree right at the edge of the window, allowing her effortless entry and exit. ***** A bright, silver, crescent moon proudly shone in the sky by the time Robin arrived at the heart of Rayet city. A cold wind blew and she hugged her black jacket closer. All was quiet except for the occasional barking of a dog. There was neither sight nor sound of people. However, one shouldn't be fooled by the inner city's apparent calm and quiet. In a few more hours this ghost town will turn into a hubbub of activity. Then it'll be dangerous for even locals to carelessly roam the streets. But she was quite safe. No one would dare cross her. "Dee" she arrived at a dilapidated house in the far corner of the alley and banged the door. The building was two storeys high. And having been there before, she knew that despite its shabby appearance the interior was artistically impressive. Even on the doorway, the head of a giant wolf had been painted. It's open mouth stretching from the top of the door frame down to the bottom of the passage. Making it seem like whoever stepped through was being eaten. She frowned and banged the door again. The window of the top floor opened with a groan that made her look up. And just in time too, to sidestep the falling balloon. Splat. Turns out it was filled...with pink paint. "What the..." A boy with light pink hair grinned smugly down at her she glared up at him "jeez, Abe should 'ave known it'd be you. Now get your sorry self down here and let me in" "what's the password sissy" "hmm... if you let me in I promise not to kill you" "pfft that doesn't scare me...looky 'ere I've been practising my punches so now you're no match for me" "..." he goaded her "why don't ya try something better" "curse you dude let me in I've got something important to talk to Dee about" his expression turned serious "well...since you've grovelled and begged I'll pity your poor self" he disappeared from the window Moments later she heard the sound of several bolts and chains opening. The corner of her lips tugged up. It seems like they've upgraded their security system. After a spell, the door swung open. Abe wasn't the one who opened it. Instead, it was another kid her age. "xup Zain" "yo" "where's Abe?" "Chicken" She smirked at that. "COWARD" she yelled at the building Behind her, Zain chuckled, as she sped up the stairs. ***** Robin lay down on a plush lavender settee. Behind her, a man in his early twenties placed the finishing touches on a painting. He was splattered in different colours of paint, his long brown hair was tied into a messy ponytail. Revealing an emerald green eye and an amber one. From afar off, one couldn't tell, but once they came closer then they'd discover the different colours. He was already very handsome, but the unique eyes made him look ethereal. When he stood up from his finished painting his height and stature dwarfed the room. He went to a sink in the corner of the room and spoke as he washed his hands "Who 're you?"
