Chapter 12

*Savannah's Nightmare Vision*

I'm in a lab. I see a body strapped to a bed with machines hooked up to it. A man with wild black hair and a white lab coat stands beside the bed. Across from the bed stands another man but he is dress in a black suit and his hair is neatly combed. He seems angry at the other guy. "How much longer until he is finished brother?" He loudly asks the other guy. The wild haired man shrugs his shoulders and says." I told you yesterday that for him to survive I can't rush the transfusion. We have already rushed so many of these that people are beginning to wonder why there is so many missing." "I don't care how many bodies you destroy I want results now! What is the point of all these tests if you haven't got anywhere?!" The suited man was pissed and had begun pacing back and forth. The wild haired man turns and I see he has reptillan skin over half his face. He glares at his brother and replies." I have all these tests so I can eventually return back to my normal self not this lizard skin that my wife refuses to touch that my own daughter refuses to even look at. I haven't had a hug from my family in over two years and you think that I am dilly dalling. If you think that then we both know who has the brains here. One day I hope you know what it feels to walk in my shoes being the smart twin instead of the handsome one. You want to be able to have all these different beasts transformations at your fingertips but not a clue what it will do to your body. Have you ever once consider why these people rip apart or only have partial transformations? Or even why all I gained during one of the tests was just the ability to be partially fireproof and stuck with lizard scales. If you weren't my brother I would of quit before this even happened. We once had the same vision that me and you would rule the world together over all the were creatures and different countries but that changed. Now my vision is just to see my daughter smile at me again and my wife to hold me close." He starts to turn around when his brother rushes across the room grabbing him by the throat and slams him against the wall knocking over one of the machines and breaking a beaker of glowing blue liquid. The nice dressed twin starts to twitch and his suit rips as wings tear out of his back. His hands turn into claws and his eyes start glowing red and a pair of horns ripped through his forehead. His voice when he growls at his brother is demonic and fire spits out of his mouth " You've had ample time to figure out how to fix this process. My boss is on my case about why you still have your life. Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now!" the winged brother spat angrily at the scaled brother. Replying with a strangled gasp he responds between coughs and gasps," You should let me live so I can find out how you can change with out pain. If you put someone else on this it will take at least another year if they follow my notes. This man here dna has almost fully changed and I can almost let him change without a problem. Do you want to watch our best experiment die right before we complete this? Would our dad or mom want that?" The winged brother drops the other and growling walks to the body. I notice the eyes have opened and they are a golden color. Still gasping the other brother walks up and asks how he is doing. He replies that he is in pain but otherwise better than he was the last round of tests. The doctor smiles and grabs a plate of food and sets it on a bed table and place it over him. then undoes his right hand so he can eat. The gold eyed guy grabs the water glass and drinks a third of it before beginning on his meal. The brothers have stopped fighting and are calmly talking to the golden eyed man asking different questions. The golden eyes fix on me and I awake.

*Alex*

I notice Savannah tossing erratically beside me and take her in my arms. She is pouring sweat and mumbling. I notice she starts to grow fur a couple times and her claws and fangs come out but Ivory links me and says she is battling Savannah trying to stop her from changing but she is having a vision that she can't see. After about an hour of Savannah tossing and turning she starts relaxing and Ivory links me saying she has started reguraly sleeping then thanks me for helping keep her calm she wouldn't of been able to stop her changing if I hadn't been there holding her. I glance at the clock and notice its almost time for me to get up. I slide out of bed trying to not disturb Savannah and start the coffee. After i start the coffee I check on Savannah who is still sleeping and then go shower.

About halfway through my shower Ivory links me to let me know Savannah was about to wake up. I tell Ivory that they can join me if Savannah is up to it. A minute later the bathroom door opens and Savannah climbs in to the shower with me. "Ivory told me to come join you in the shower when I woke. Was it because i smell absolutely disgusting?" Laughing I reply" No my sweet kitten. I figured a shower would make you feel better after that nightmare you had. Also after I get off tonight do you want to go try out the pack pool house and hot tubs. I want to get your thoughts on something that has ran through my mind the past few weeks since the college sent new summer work study agreements." She smiles and says that it sounds nice she been wanting to try out her new swim suit that she got for her birthday. Laughing we both rinse off and she steps out and begins drying off. I step out and she starts chuckling and looking down I realize I am rock hard. She walks out after she kisses me. After I dry off and head to the closet she is almost dressed in a black tank top a purple and black plaid skirt and a solid purple long sleeve button up. She finishes putting her shoes on and walks out. As I finish dressing and walk out she hands me a cup of coffee and tells me she watched how i make my cup and wanted to know how close to she was. I take a sip and smiling I kiss her. Its perfect I tell her. She had made it exactly right.

Roosevelt walks in and sets a tray on the table with a pitcher of juice before exciting. We set down and eat. At about half past six Thomas links me and asks if I can go over some paperwork with him when I get to my office. I tell him yes I will be there at seven. Me and Savannah finish eating at six forty-five and I hug her telling her to meet me in my office at noon for lunch. She nods and I turn and walk out the door. I make it to my office and set up for the day and at exactly seven Thomas walks in. He sets a thick file on my desk and begins explaining everything. The file includes the recent renovation for the 3rd floor and the update for the betas office and even the additional training ground for the dragons. The training ground looked to be the most expensive with the need for fireproofing everything and its size. There was an additional wing being added to the medical building and an update to multiple different rooms of the manor. The garden that we had agreed to at the meeting yesterday plans were finalized and the college summer work agreement had been updated with the college to include three additional students for the summer. By the time we had finished the file it was eleven thirty. I linked Roosevelt and told him to bring food for both me and Savannah at noon. At five till noon there is a knock at the door and Savannah walks in.
