Chapter 1                  My Name is Natalie. I am 25 years old. I finished my internship and I now work for the Smithsonian The National Museum Of National History. I have been here for about 6 months now after I graduated with my masters. I guess you could say I always knew I wanted to work here. My dad works here but he is just in a different department. He works with dinosaur bones. He use to take me here when I was little and I have been hooked ever since. Today I am being sent on a dig site to a place I have always dreamed about going to Egypt. (Richard Boss) Natalie ok so heres your plane ticket some cash. Mr. Stone is meeting you in front of the international airport. I will see you in 6 weeks. Have fun and dig something up good. come on now your going to be late. (Natalie) Thank You Richard.  I make my way down the stairs to the next floor where my fathers office is. When I see his door is open and hes on the phone I take a seat in a chair. I see him hold up a finger telling me hes almost done.  (Mr. Welch-Dad)  Hey sweetheart. ok I am done you, ready? Got everything ? Because if we have to go back to the house we really will be late. (Natalie) This is why I packed days ago. we get up to leave and he locks his office up. then we make our way to his car. its about an hour drive to the airport. (dad) So your supposed to meet Jasper right? (Natalie) Jasper...Oh you mean Mr. Stone...I was told he would meet out front. (dad) are you sure you have everything. I know hes going to worry about me. He only has me. My mom left when I was a baby, only a few months old. i guess she couldnt handle being a mom and I guess I was a colic baby and cryed a hell of a lot. So its just me and him. Once we arrive he pulls up front. My dad grabs my bags from the trunk. I see a man walking towards us. (Jasper) Mr. Welch, pleased to see you again. The man puts his hand out to shake my dads.  (Dad) Jasper, good to see you boy. I would like to introduce you to my daughter Natalie. (Jasper) Nice to meet you. (Natalie) You too We shake hands. wow his hand is big, mine are so tiny in his big grip. (Dad) I trust you to look out for her Jasper (Jasper) Of course sir. (Dad) ok sweetheart enjoy your self, work hard and find something special. I love you. He says as he pulls me into a big bear hug (Natalie) I will and I love you too. Me and Jasper make our way inside and find where we need to go. once we arrive at our gate we pass our tickets to the stewardess. i see her give Jasper a very sexy smile looking him up and down like hes a candy bar. I wonder if he gets that a lot, I mean he is very cute and all. We make our way to our seats. I see Jasper is sitting next to me. we sit and wait for take off. I hate take offs. I hold on to my arm rest for dear life and try to relax. (Jasper) you ok? (Natalie) I dont like take offs. Once we are in the air i will be fine. (Jasper) Just breath Once we are in the air im fine. its a 10 hour flight to Cairo. i read a book while he puts on head phones and lays back closing his eyes. 9 hours seems to fly by. im deep in thought reading my book when i feel someone looking at me. i look over and its him, i wonder how long hes been doing that. i see him staring at me like he wants to ask me something.  (Natalie) what (Jasper) nothing really......How old are you? (Natalie) 25 and you? (Jasper) 26. Have you been to Egypt Before? (Natalie) No. first time for me. (Jasper) this will be twice for me (Natalie) really wow i cant wait. sorry if i get a little excited its my dream place to visit. (Jasper) yeah its really beautiful there. (Jasper) We can site see on our days off. (Natalie) That would be wonderful (Jasper) we do have a pretty cool assignment, i mean Cleopatra and Mark Antony. (Natalie) Tragic love story (Jasper) I cant wait to see the valley of the kings its the one place i have not been had a chance to see yet. Do you speak Arabic? (Natalie) No unfortunately i dont  (Jasper) well i guess that is why i was told to look out for you and stay with you at all times. (Natalie) What wait.. who told you to do that (Jasper) Your father called me a few days ago and asked me. (Natalie) Of course he did. How do you know him by the way? (Jasper) we met in a dig in Nevada (Natalie) oh yeah i remember him going there you guys found some fossils that was an amazing find. (Jasper) it was We hear the pilot over head we are about to land. i grab the arm rest again landing not a very big fan of that either. Jasper looks over and takes my hand in his and rubs it. (Jasper) Breath i nod and it worked we are on the ground. we exit the plane and go get our bags. Jasper stays by side the whole time. Once we get them we head to get our jeep we will be useing for the next few weeks. Jasper helps me with my bags and i keeps my backpack it has my computer and stuff in it. he opens the door for me to get in i thank him and he get in to drive. Once we arrive at the Marriott Mena House of Cairo my mouth dropped it was beautiful. someone comes out to take out bags. we walk to the front desk. (Cindy) Welcome to the Marriott Mena House Im cindy, how can i help you? (Jasper) Reservations for stone and welch please i watch her look at her computer and look up our names. (Cindy) Ok yes i have you too in a two bedroom suite room 143 on the third floor. is that ok. (Jasper) thats fine thank you She hands Jasper our key cards  (Cindy) If theres anything i can do for you or help you with please let me know She said this while eyeing him batting her eye lashes seems like shes trying to hard. we start walking to the elevators. and get right in. (Natalie) Dose that happen a lot? (Jasper) Dose what happen a lot? (Natalie) Ladys eye balling you (Jasper) well unfortunately i pay no mind to it i shake my head (Jasper) what (Natalie) oh nothing....Girlfriend right? (Jasper) Nope..Boyfriend? he said this while raising an eyebrow (Natalie) Nope (Jasper) Not possible.. i dont believe it. (Natalie) I guess i work to much no one wants a girl whos never really around. (Jasper) Same here Then i notice him looking at me and butterflys hit my stomach. no i tell myself im here for work. we get to our room and its so big you can see the pyramids from the window. its really breathtaking. I am standing at the window looking out when i feel him behind me.  (Jasper) Beautiful isnt it? (Natalie) it really is  (Jasper) im hungry wanna order some food? (Natalie) sure i walk around and look at the rest of the place. (Natalie) which room do you want? (Jasper) it doesnt matter to me the rooms are right next to each other with one big bathroom joining them. wow who thought of this. i put my stuff on the bed. (Jasper) Room service will be here in 45 Min.  (Natalie) Ok He leave to check out his room then comes though the bathroom to mine (Jasper) who thought of this (Natalie) hahaha i was thinking the same thing. (Jasper) well i guess we just let each other know before hand knock before opening the door. Food arrives and we eat jet lagged is starting to set in i can see he feels it too. (Natalie) Im gonna take a little nap  (Jasper) yeah me too work dont start till tomorrow anyways we go to our separate rooms. I lay on the bed and fall a sleep. My only problem was i woke up and realized i just had a dream about Jasper holding me touching me with his big hands making love to me. I just met him what is wrong with me. yes it has been a long time sense i have been with someone but still. wow it was a good dream.   Knock knock (Jasper) Hey Natalie, you up? we have get to the museum to meet the rest of the team. (Natalie) Be right out. I come out of the room and hes leaning on the on the wall  (Jasper) hey if you want to go see a couple of sites when were done there we can. (Natalie) that sounds great. (Jasper) ok did you bring a bathing suit? (Natalie) yes  (Jasper) you should put it on under your clothes. I know a great stop, I would like to take you too. (Natalie) ok  I go back into my room and change quick putting my swim suit under my clothes. When I come back out hes ready and waiting. i follow him out the door. We walk to the lobby and outside and wait for our jeep to be brought to us so we can meet our new team at the museum. when we get there we walk in and were showed where to go to meet them. once everyone is introduced they talk for a little bit and good thing Jasper was with me because i would have been lost with out him, i couldnt keep up they task so fast. There were a few laughs and some small talk between then. We are meeting them at 5am tomorrow morning, so that gives us the rest of the day to relax before our early day starts. (Jasper) Ready to head out? (Natalie) yes We say good bye to everyone and get back to the jeep where Jasper takes me to the 3 Pyramids of Giza First. Its breath taking to be this close to it so flipping amazing. There so big to see them in person. There we no word for the feeling i had at that moment. (Jasper) Come on I have a place we need to visit before we head back. I found it last time i was out here. We drove for about an hour. then he parked. (Jasper) Its a bit of a walk are you ok with that? (Natalie) i dont mind. lead the way. He took my hand when the path got rocky. heading up what look like a mountain. His grip was soft yet strong. I felt comfort in it. Once we reach our destination my eyes about shot out of my head. it was a small waterfall the water so so blue . Rock wall almost all the way around. (Natalie) Wow Jasper this is sss . (Jasper) i know and i just came across it a few years ago. i thought you would like it. He started getting undressed. so i do too.  (Natalie) wow that feels so nice. The water feels so nice on my hot skin. I watch him go under. Then pops back out besides me. (Jasper) Come on Enjoy it we wont be able to relax much after tomorrow. He splashes me with water in the face, i laugh and then go under and start swimming around. when i come up for air i did not realize i came up in front of him. I wipe the water from my face with my hands and look up at him. He then pulls me by my hips so im so close to him. hes looking down into my eyes then to my lips i was holding my breath then his lips were on mine. In that moment i too kiss him back feeling is tongue asking for access to be let in. I open just enough and feel it. His hand wrapped around on my upper back. my hands are on his firm chest. (Natalie) Mmmmm I felt him smile  What am i doing i ask my self i dont even really know this gorgeous god of a man with the most beautiful green eyes holding on to me. My body started to head up. i have to stop this kiss, so i do and push away a bit trying to control my breathing my eyes still closed. when i open them he is looking straight at me. My mind goes blank i dont know what to say to him.  (Jasper) you ok? (Natalie) Yeah im sorry i just..... (Jasper) No im sorry, your so beautiful and i couldnt help myself. He just called me beautiful this beautiful man in front of me. Well now i couldnt help myself i look back up to him and take hold of his neck and pull him to me and take his lips. i can not contain the attraction i feel towards him, it was almost over whelming. After a minute he stopped the kiss and our foreheads were touching. (Natalie)  We should head back. I saw the disappointment in his eyes but its ok im not that kinda girl. ive never had one night stands. im not one to sleep with just anyone. yes i felt something in his hold on me something in his kiss some pull that made mw want more. A weakness with my new hot roommate. (Jasper) ok He takes my hand and we start walking up the rocks to get out of the water. He grabs his bag and hands me a towel.  i thank him. and start to dry myself off as dose he. i put my clothes back on over my swimsuit. i catch myself watching him. Just the sight of him is mouth watering. i couldnt help but bit my lip. He hold out his hand and i take it and we make our way back down the steep track its a little harder going down the loose rock and dirt, if he didnt have my hand i would have fell at least once or twice. When we get back to the jeep he pulls me into his arms.  (Jasper) Tell me you didnt feel something back there and i will stop right now. My mind started drifting in a million different directions this could be very good or very bad. I grab hold of his shirt and pull i dont know why but i felt very brave, i have never felt brave when it comes to men i tend to shy away. i have really only had one boyfriend my whole life. only a few very close friends. Other then that i only have my dad. but right there in there Jasper makes me want to be brave. His lips are on mine again i felt so much passion in his kiss i didnt want it to end. His hands are holding my face while i still have his tshirt holding him close like he might disappear. when we pull away for some much needed breathing he just says... (Jasper) come on lets head back and get something to eat. He opens the passenger door for me. My face feels flush. He walks over to the driver side and gets in then takes my hand in his and rubs my knuckles with his thumb he starts the car and we head back to the hotel. When we get there and enter the lobby a man yells out Jaspers name. (Eric) Jasper. Jaspers looks around as do i looking for the person calling him (Jasper) Hey man i didnt think you were coming for a few days. they give each other a hug  (Eric) Yeah well Nikki had to be here for tomorrow so i figured i would join her. (Jasper) oh s**t sorry Eric this is Natalie, Natalie this is Eric He holds out his hand for me to shake (Eric) Nice to meet you (Natalie) You too. (Jasper) Where is Nikki. (Eric) Shes checking us in (Jasper) Nikki is Erics wife. She is part of our team shes our Anthropologist. And Eric here is our Geologist. (Eric) So where are you two headed? (Jasper) We were going to change and then get some dinner. We have an early morning a head of us. (Nikki) Jasper A very pretty blond come running up and hugs him (Jasper) ive missed you. how was your flight (Nikki) OHHH i missed you too. and it was good.  I see her look over at me  (Nikki) you must be Natalie  (Jasper Natalie this is my sister Nikki. Nikki meet Natalie. (Natalie)  Wow his sister well its nice to meet you.  (Nikki) His twin actually. nice to meet you too. (Eric) Are we all set babe? (Nikki) yup there taking our bags up now. (Jasper) Did you check on Bruno Before you left? (Nikki) Yes mom and dad are taking good care of him. Im watching them talk and wonder who bruno is  (Jasper) Bruno is my Dog (Nikki) Bruno is his baby his pride and joy and hates when he has to leave him. and i promise his was good before i left. (Natalie) come on show me a pic  He pulls out his phone and shows me a put pic of him and his dog laying on the couch together. (Natalie) so cute. (Nikki) so what are you guys up to She see jasper grab hold of my hand and i see her face and a smile go wide (Jasper) Dinner, after we go change. (Nikki) Mind we we join you? will just go freshen up and meet you back here in say an hour. Jasper looks over to me as if asking if its ok (Natalie) Sounds great Then we all head to our rooms  We get to our room and he opens the door letting me in first. (Jasper) Im sorry about that, we dont have to go. (Natalie) No its ok. We can go i dont mind. (Jasper) Are you sure? (Natalie) Im positive. Are you afraid shes gonna spill you secrets, or tell me some storys you dont want me to hear about? i say that last part with a smile on my face (Jasper) No that would be my parents that do that. OK lets go get ready then. He lets go of my hand he was holding and we head to our rooms to change. My mind starts to wonder, we kissed a lot. i still feel his lips on mine, so soft and perfect. But i cant let this interfere with my work. i have worked hard to get where i am now. But ive never had anyone look at me the way hes looks at me.
