"You want a tour of the place?" Rosa says, walking over to hug me. I nod, surprised by how good a simple hug can feel. Sister Evelyn, caring and compassionate as she may be, isn't big on hugs (or even smiling and laughing for that matter, although I know that beneath her austere, deceivingly cold exterior lies a very soft and kind heart). Gabby was always big on big squishy warm hugs all throughout my childhood, and I forgot how good it feels just to be wrapped up in another person's arms.
