The dream begins as a flash of wild panic in the darkness. I’m running through a gloomy midnight forest, a pack of hungry wolves at my back. I hear them howling, feel the hot spray of their saliva as they nip at my heels, snarling and furious, but always, I am just a single step ahead. If I slow down, even for a moment, they will devour me, ripping me apart in their ravenous jaws.
