I'm someone who's always had big dreams and high expectations for myself, yet I find myself struggling to find fulfillment in my personal life. Despite living in a world where women have more freedom and choices than ever before, I still feel the pressure to conform to societal expectations of marriage and motherhood. And, as someone who's attracted to men, it's hard not to feel like I'm failing in some way when I can't seem to find a partner who shares my vision for the future. Growing up, the term "spinster" was reserved for women over a certain age who had yet to marry. Today, we like to think that society has evolved beyond such archaic labels. But the truth is, there's still a sense of judgment and shame that comes with being single past a certain age. It's a constant battle to stay true to oneself and not give in to the pressure to settle for less than we deserve." And that's where Gemma's story begins.
