My Pharaoh's Temple (ON HOLD)

Anas POV “- thank you for flying with Saudia Airline” I jumped out of my seat, and nearly ran to the exit. My team has been in Cairo for 2 days just waiting for my arrival so we could start with our work. Everybody was so excited when we got the news about an unknown building hidden under the tons of sand. Who knows what we are gonna find there? I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even hear someone saying my name. “Miss Ana?” I turned around seeing an older man. He must have been sent to drive me to the hotel. Hes skin was really tanned and he was a bit sweaty, probably because it's really hot here and he walked around the airport to find me. “Yes” I smiled slightly to him “I'm sorry that I'm a little late, my flied got canceled last minute” “Its alright” He spoke with an arabic accent. He took my bag out of my hand and we walked to the exit. Outside stood the bright yellow taxi that probably were his. As he put my bag in the trunk I could feel the warm more intense than before. I shield my eyes with my hand as the bright light began to slightly hurt my eyes. “Miss Ana?” He said as he opened the car door for me. “Oh, thank you” He closed the door after me and walked round to the front. I fished my phone out of my little bag I had around my shoulder and typed Cain’s number. “Hello?” God how I missed him. “Hey Cain” “ANA?” He nearly yelled in the little speaker as I tried not to laugh at his reaction “Yea, good to hear from you too, I’m actually on my way to the hotel now so, see you in about 10 min? I think” “I’m- yes-I- ehm I will get the boys together and we are gonna meet you there” “Stop getting stressed” I sighed slightly. “I will try, see you in a bit” I could hear him running, and panicking on the other end. “See ya” The drive to the hotel wasn't bad at all actually. Most of the way I talked with my driver, and got to know him a bit. Then we got to the hotel he opened the door again for me. “Thank you, Akeem” “You’re welcome Miss Ana-” He sat my bag on the ground carefully, and gave me a little smile. “ I hope the drive wasn't too boring” “Oh no! It was fun, and I hope your daughter gets it better” “Thank you, I hope you find something interesting here, many things are hidden under the sand” He chuckled slightly. “I sure hope we do, I didn't come all the way to Egypt just to find nothing” I laughed a bit nervous. What if it isn't really anything interesting? When it would just have been a waste of money and time to come here. Oh, God. I felt a hand softly laying on my right shoulder “Are you alright Miss Ana?” “Oh ehm yea” I gave him a little smile, trying not to think about what could go wrong for me and my team. When Gael called us, we didn't get much information about what he found, he just said that he thought that I should come and see it. “Have a good day Miss Ana” Akeem waved bye and drove through the gates. Please, God help me.
