Noah's Magic-part one-

“But, if he is cursed with that… what was it called again? Ah, [Samael’s curse], then, what’s the point in coming to us? He is the cursed one, not us” asked April.

“That’s exactly the point. If he is cursed, he knows how to curse others. In other words, he is trying to curse you both with the same curse that he has” Said Noah.

“How can this be…” Said April.

“Leonardo, you bastard” Said Teo.

“Anyway, if what Noah says is true, we have to avoid it then the best we can. We are all mages after all” Said Angeline.

“Queen” Asked Noah.

“Yes child?”

“Tell me something else, how many routes can we take to go to the school through the black forest"

“As far as I know, there are 3 routes, each one is protected by one of the kings of the forest, the path that you are taking is my territory. If you walk straight to the left, you will end in the territory of the Scorpion’s king and if you go to the right, you will end in the spider’s empress territory”

“I don’t suggest taken neither of those, both the spidy and the scorpion are… let’s say that they don’t like humans much, so they won’t doubt twice in killing you” Said the queen.

“How come you let those guys enter your territory?” Asked Teo.

“I don’t really care much about humans, as far as I am concerned, humans are just food or my children, but, I don’t spoil them, they have to earn their own food. If some children are killed because they can’t hunt, so be it; Unless they are stupid enough to try to exterminate all of my children, I just let humans do whatever they want” Said the queen.

“Kyu!” Said the bat in Noah’s head.

“You are different, you are the next queen” Said the queen.

“Said Queen… can you help us deal with them? We can pay you!” Said Angeline.

Everyone, except Noah, wanted to ask that. If they could make the queen help them, then they had nothing to fear, not Leonardo nor the ranked magician.

“Unfortunately, I don’t have any intention of middling with human affairs. Of course, if it just saves these two children, I don’t mind, but as far as all of you…” Said the queen.

“I-I see…” Said Angeline.

“What do you say, child? I can get you and your sister out of here” Said the queen to Noah.

“Sorry queen, I own these people a lot. If it not for them, I would still be begging for food on the streets, but thanks… I really appreciate it” Said Noah.

The queen smiled and harassed the hair of Noah.

“I like grateful children”

The queen transformed into her bat form and disappeared in the darkness.

“The guys you are looking are a few hours away from here. I will pray for your success”

The voice of the queen died in the darkness. Then the group continues on their way in the dark forest.

“No-Noah, are you sure about this?” Asked Teo.

“Yeah” Said Noah.

Noah has his own thoughts. He first thought about asking the queen to take Hope with her, but thinking again, what was his little sister, who was not even 4 years old, going to do alone?

“Worst case scenario, I will just flee with Hope to the Queen’s direction. I don’t think that she will led us die” Though Noah.

Of course, he wasn’t planning to lose.

“Let’s think about [Samael’s curse] for a bit. In essence, it is an exchange; Magic for strength, in this world where magic is everything. It is obvious why everyone is scared. However, it is not as bad as it sounds. Of course, this isn’t the game, so the durability of the course or if it has some collateral effects isn’t clear, it should work almost like it worked in the game. So, there are ways to counter this mage-counter character” Though Noah

He wasn’t a ranked player for nothing, although Noah always hated people who only pick that trashy champion to counter him, he developed some techniques to deal with them.

Of course, the majority of those techniques require heaven items from the game, which obviously he didn’t have in hand.

“But I do have some spells that can help me evade him” Though Noah.

[Tornado] was one of them.

The other one is [Shadow Realm]. Which was, basically, camouflage. It melted your character in the shadows for 30 seconds, it didn’t cost a lot of mana and was convenient.

If it was night.

“The game was day and night. [Shadow Realm] could be used. However, it was stupid to use it in the day. After all, if there weren’t any shadows, your character wouldn’t move for 30 seconds, enough time for the enemy to kill you. The good thing that we currently are in the [Dark forest] were is night 24/7” Though Noah.

Noah had a plan, so he tried to canalize the powers to conjure [Shadow Real].

“Hmm?”

However…

“What? What is going on?”

“Why! Come on!”

No matter how many times Noah tried to conjure [Shadow Realm], it didn’t come out at all.

“I am doing it correctly! Why is not working!?”Though Noah.

“Hmm? Where did that came from?” Though Noah.

He tried to conjure once more [Shadow Realm].

“Again?”

Noah followed the direction of the voice, it was coming from his backpack.

“It can’t be…”

He took out the [Acolyte of the Lost Arts]. Inside, all of the words that explained the use of magic disappeared. Instead, all the pages were in blank, except for one, the first one.

Noah tried once more to use [Shadow Realm] and another line appears in the book.

“So the voice was coming from the book” Though Noah.
