The bat queen looked at Noah with curiosity.

"Human child, your mana is different from everything I taste before, tell me, who are your parents?" 

"I don't since I have memory, it has always been me and my sister, Hope"

"Orphans?"

"Street kids, The orphans were full so, yeah"

"You supported your little sister and learned magic huh? Such a good child, you see that? you could learn a thing or two from him"

"Yiii!"

"And what are you doing here? This is not a place to play you know?" Asked the queen.

"We were going to the magic academy but the portal was destroyed by someone, so we have to take a detour through this forest" Said Noah.

"I now understand who were those people" Said the queen.

"You have seen them?"

"Yes, they were 4 men and two women, the two women were magicians"

"Two magicians? Leonardo, you asshole!" Said April.

"They weren't the highest treat, there was this particular man, I think that he is what you humans call a rank magician" Said the queen.

"WHAT!?" Said Teo.

"A rank magician!? impossible! how could someone like Leonardo bring a ranked magician!?" Said Angeline.

"What is a ranked magician?" Asked Noah.

"Among the different magic academies in the world, there is a list that has the one thousand magicians that are considered the best of the best, those magicians are called ranked magicians, they bring honor to their academies and of course, status, no matter where a ranker magician go, he will be treated with the utmost respect" Said Angeline.

"Is impossible that Leonardo could bring a ranked magician! not talk about his family, even if all the eight noble families collect all their fortune, they wouldn't even be able to even get in contact with the 1000th ranked magician on the list!" Said Angeline.

Angeline grabbed her head in despair.

"Wha-what should we do?" 

Noah looked at her and for something he felt that she looked quite funny.

"There is no way we can fight a ranked magician, is a suicide, let's go back and find another way"

"That isn't necessarily true" Said Noah.

"Wha-what are you saying?"

"Think about it, if that was the case, why would Leonardo take the trouble to bring us here, he might as well asked the ranked magician to just kill us, it doesn't make any sense" 

"Well, now that you mention it..." Said April.

"Queen, when you saw the ranked magician, did he do anything to you?"

"No, he didn't even notice, and I was practically on his neck, however, the flux of magic in him was definitely a ranked magician's" Said the Queen.

"Mmm..." Though Noah.

"If I am not wrong"

"Yes?"

"Did you see him coughing or something?" Asked Noah.

"No"

"Was he injured?"

"No"

"Was there anything strange about him?"

"Mmm... Well, I didnt think there was anything strange but, there was something odd, I have fought a ranked magicians before, and I dont feel quite treated by that mage, in fact, If it wasnt for the flux of mana, I would say that he is just a regular mortal" Said the queen.

"Strange, why is that?" Said Teo.

"..." Noah though about this profundly.

He didnt know much about mages, but he did know about WOA.

"There were cases when you couldn't use spells, usually by a debuff, mmm... but those didnt last long, a few seconds at most... unless..."

There was one kind of debuff that was not used in WOA , it was the ability of a support character named Redack, he was an evil sorcerer, according to the lore, that was cursed by the doom king and he became cursed for killing him, in every game, when you kill Redack your champion becames cursed with the [Samael's curse] which almost seal all your spells, you basically can only use one spell for the rest game, in compensation, your attack and defense receives an incredible buff, that was why Redack was never picked, unless your strategy relay heavily on magic damage, the main dpc characters in the game didnt use any kind of spell at all and their passive skills are not affected so Redack was almost a useless champion, as far as Noah knew, his enemies who knew him and knew what kind of champions he used to play, they always picked Redack, there was a time when he had to use other characters because he was tired of losing because the other team saw his nickname and automatically picked Redack.

"But how to be sure? in WOA you could see if the enemy was cursed just by clicking him, but here... And there is no way to know because the [Samael's curse] didnt provide any physically changes... ah! but here was a way to cure you from the curse, you needed to buy... what was it called again? Ah, Mary's tears!" Though Noah.

Mary's tears was an expesinve item in WOA that purge you from all debuff from your opponent.

"It was used, in the lore, as a catalyzer for the fall of the angel of destrucution, Catopulus. It was made from the blood of 999 women" 

"What are you thinking Noah?" Asked April.

"I think I might have an idea of what is going on here. It seems that they arent after me"

"But after you two" Said Noah while looking at Angeline and April.

"Us? Why?" Asked Angeline.

"If I am not wrong, this guy is probably cursed"

"Cursed?" Asked April.

"It might be a powerful curse that don't let you use your spells, I think that he is cursed by the [Samael's curse]" Said Noah.

"[Samael's curse] ?" Asked April.

She turned towards Angeline who also shook her head.

"I never heard of a curse called Samael"

"It a curse that seals your spells, you can only use one, I think that is why the queen didnt felt a treat nor he was able to detect the queen" Said Noah.

Eveyrone was surprised.

"WHAT KIND OF EVIL CURSE IS THAT!?" They though.
