"Well that was a disaster," I said as I fell back onto the sofa, joined by my three brothers and Aegeos.
"Sometimes, I don't know when to shut my mouth," the older man admitted.
"She'll be alright. She's in very capable hands," I said before taking a sip of wine.
We all sat quietly, in our own heads about what had just transpired. I couldn't be sure what the others were thinking but all I could think about was Eris calling one of us husband. The more I thought about it, the less sure I was that I wanted it to be me. Sure, I loved her, but Eris deserved better than me for a husband. And when I really dissected the idea, I realized that I was happy so long as it was one of us that she chose. Zeus forbid she marry another man outside of the four of us.
