"We should head back inside," I said as I leaned my head against Asteria's shoulder.
She leaned her head against me and we simply sat there for a moment, enjoying one another's company. It was nice to just be with my sister again, but there was also shame for how long I'd gone without contacting her. I would have to do better.
Asteria patted my thigh and we both stood, followed by Messene as we headed back inside.
When I reentered the sitting area, I was surprised by the lack of people. All I saw was Deimos and my father, standing there with weird looks on their faces.
