The hellship was waiting at the fourth jump point, loitering where the fleet could see it as they approached. It was surrounded by the wreckage of at least six ships and as soon as the fleet came within sensor range it started to accelerate towards them.
“Captain,” said Dalesh. “The Admiral is calling again.”
Drake pulled a face, then nodded.
“Put her through.”
The Admiral appeared, and she started to speak immediately.
“Captain Drake, this is our fight. I want you well out of the way to the side. If you get too close we will treat you as a hostile combatant who has been taken over by the hellship.”
