The twenty minutes came and went. Drake took a deep breath to steady himself, then gave the order to move toward the jump point. The tension mounted around the bridge grew as they moved closer but still nothing came through. They reached the jump point without any threat appearing. Drake paused for a moment. This was it. This was when he found out whether his guess was right. Hell, at least they wouldn’t be left wondering anymore. “Take us through,” he said. “Aye, Captain,” replied Sonia.
